This poor baby walked right into a trap for help. I showed up, set it down, he stubbled over and now he’s going to the vet. Poor guy has been drooling and has puss coming out of its eyes and mouth, overall poor condition. He is probably due for a dental.

Well, this is the first, we are on our way to go try to trap a bunny. Any guidance on how to trap bunny, would be greatly appreciated. We are going to attempt to treat it as a cat, and lure him in and see if we catch him. Either someone lost their bunny or dumped a bunny in the wash in the middle of town.

Poor Sadie is an old lady, vet says 10-12 years old. Living outside falling over while walking. She was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, severe arthritis, and possible cerebrum hyperplasia. Bloodwork comes in next week, thank you again . This picture shows how bad her back is, look at that arch. She’s eating and going to bathroom okay and explores the room at night. We added floor mats (for grip on the tile) and some senior stuff to the wishlist if you’re able to help

Olivia has been working on her socializing skills and I think she is ready for the right home. This girl is beyond sweet, but has some low confidence in the world. She loves food and that will help bridge that gap. There isn’t a mean bone in this girls body, just some caution on her part. Adoption fee is $80 which includes microchip, spay, and vaccines.

Spot was adopted this weekend to a wonderful human and is already playing like the spunky little man he is with his new sibling.

Our homemade drop trap is close to it’s time. Cats are now starting to break through our zip ties. If you’re able to donate, we are looking to purchase two new ones. Please share: we are taking application for Athena’s adoption. She still needs to be fixed, but is ready for a home after that. She would prefer a home with other pets or kids as she loves being around others. She is litter box trained and even puts herself to bed at bedtime.

We spent the week dealing with a Giardia and Coccidia outbreak in this one and her friend/family, so we put a pause on TNR. Good news… we finally have solid poo! It’s the little things that make me excited. She is also learning how to play with toys and purr. Her partner in crime is still cautious and nervous, but they go to their long term foster on Thursday and I know they will flourish there. #kitten #giardia #coccidia #parasite #outbreak #solid #poop #meds #finally #tnr #foster #cats #kittens #meow #yay #gettingbetter #loved #fostercat

Update on Athena, she’s eating well and even playing. Soon she will have 2 more play mates, but we needs to go to the vet before she meets her new friends.

This is Marvin, he has been evading my traps for over four months. He lives outside of our house and relies on us heavily for food, which makes me think that someone left him. We posted him on Nextdoor, and all of the missing sites, nothing. I asked a few neighbors, and they said they’ve just been seeing him outside daily. If he’s friendly, we are going to be taking him in and trying to find him a home. He should not have to wander in 28° weather to go get food, especially if he had a home.

Update: 10 cats have been in for vaccines and S/N. When I left another colony last week, I saw 3 kittens here, I came back today with traps to catch the 3 kittens. Well, there are more than we expected. The caretaker says there are about 30 cats between the 2 properties. We made a plan and will be trapping this week. Thank goodness for receptive people.

Another success. This baby was stuck in a car engine in the heat. Now he’s going into Moon & Stars Animal Rescue organization to be adopted! 😻 We are a small organization with no location yet, mostly just Trap Neuter Return. Once we grow, we will be able to take on more. Until then, we work with amazing organizations in our area and help where we can. If interested in this baby, please contact Moon and Stars. He’s AMAZING!
