• 34% of drivers don't use a dog Crate/ car seat or belt when out on the road with their furry friends. That's over a 3rd of dogs travelling in a dangerous manner.
• 1 in every 10 drivers let their dogs sit in the front passenger seat.
• Transporting your dog/pet without a car seat, seat belt & harness or a crate could leave you with 9 points on your licence.

This boys owner has come forward, but he'll be staying with us in the hopes of securing an experienced rescue space.

There are many facts that we cannot make public, so please be kind and don't turn this into a witch hunt.

For everyone concerned, we're well aware that this dog is probably frightened, but the level of aggression seen was shocking and it was a scary situation to be involved with.

He'll be given a few days to decompress in kennels and if possible, we'll try to scan him for a chip again.

If he isn't claimed, we'll start looking for a rescue space who can manage his issues.

Male Frenchie found straying around Manor Way, Eastchurch.

Chip status is unknown. He's had a cursory scan which didn't identify a chip, but due to severe aggression and a real risk to officer safety, it was impossible to scan him properly.
