Meet Luna an 18lb, 2 year old Merle-Havanese being fostered in Ashland City, TN.
Hello Everyone! Miss Luna here, just wanted to tell you all how well I have been doing in Yorkie Rescue (I am not a Yorkie…Shhhhhhhh,.. they think I am so don’t say anything). I am having to learn how to share with others. When I was living in my other home that gave me up they had to work all the time and I had to spend almost all day by myself. I didn't really get to interact with my humans and I didn't get to go meet new folks or other dogs. So when I met my Foster Parents I was scared and growled a bit. It only took me a second to realize they were super nice and actually wanted to give me attention. I Love that so much! when another dog wants to challenge me for that attention I may get a bit grumpy. I am learning fast though and it just takes time. One cool thing I have learned is if I ring this bell on the door, they let me outside! How awesome is that! I also have gotten to try new foods. I absolutely LOVE apples and carrots. I am still learning and working on new things everyday. I am only 2 years old. Right now I am concentrating on how not to be so scared of new people or things I haven't been exposed to yet. I can do it you know why, because Foster Parents told me I could!. Luna may need to go to an only dog home where she can be the center of attention. She is a Velcro dog and attaches to whomever she considers her person very quickly and wants all of the attention she can get. Luna is super smart and beautiful. She does have a high pitch bark but is not a constant barker. She will bark with new people or if she is startled. What Luna needs is love.
