I was at an event at Lavocats back in early 2021 and a vendor was advertising 716 Paws. The rescue was very new then and she raved about it. At the time, I was with another rescue fostering/volunteering, but I was excited and interested to join one with a fresh approach to our mission. I’ve seen the saying in other posts many times when people ask, “how do you do it? I could never, I’d keep them all.” Of course we love all our fosters, but I always tell people how heart warming it is to find our foster babies their forever homes.
I have foster failed twice. I wasn’t sure if I could do it again after losing Juneau, who was a cleft palate puppy from the Bottle Brigade. But after I took some time to think about it, I knew I was okay enough to foster a puppy mill rescue and I did it for Juneau. Now, we have our Golden, Willow. AKA “pillow ears” as Kim calls her lol

I’m Chubby, but my foster mom calls me Bugatti. It must be because I raced into her heart the minute she saw me! I’m a happy pup who can be quite the character! Anyone have a connection is Hollywood?!?! I’m ready to star in my own show!
I love everyone! I love dogs, humans, kids! I’m not sure about cats because I don’t live with any. Love cuddles? So do I! Hold me like a teddy bear, and I’m in heaven. If I can’t star in my own sitcom, perhaps I can be an athlete! I can already see me atop the podium winning gold medals in zoomies and tug-of/war!
Crate trained? Check. Basic commands? Nailed it (especially if snacks are involved—I’m very food motivated). Potty training? Still a work in progress. We aren’t sure what breeds I’m mixed with but let’s be honest when you look this cute does it really matter?
I’m all set to race into your life and heart. Ready, set, Go!

Mahindra is the last of the tractor litter and we are trying to figure out why this guy hasn’t plowed his way into someone’s heart. With a strong foundation of skills and those gorgeous blue eyes, he will make an amazing pet for anyone!
In the month that Mahindra has been here he has been crate trained, potty trained and walks well on a leash. What a snartie 🤓 He knows sit, paw and is a good listener. Mahindra loves to play and then cuddles up with his family when he’s ready to rest. He lives with three other dogs and gets along with them. Mahindra is ready and waiting for his perfect family to continue to provide him the training, love and snuggles that every dog needs. 🚜

Meet Bandit! Bandit is a 2 year old commercial breeder release who is adjusting to life in a home. He does great with other dogs and would prefer to live in a home with other dogs. He hasn’t met any cats yet so we don’t know how he would be.
He sleeps through the night without a p*ep and hasn’t had any accidents in the house. He would make a great addition to any home where the adopters are willing to work with a dog who needs extra time in building trust.

Are you looking for s’more love in your life? S’more fun? S’more cuddle time? Look no further than our girl S’mores. S’mores took her freedom ride to Buffalo about a month ago and while she loves her foster parents, she is ready for her forever family! She has typical puppy period of energy but then she is pretty chill. S’mores loves following her foster family around the house and has become her foster dad’s #1 assistant. S’mores is p*e pad trained and is doing so good with her potty training. She does well hanging out in her puppy pen when no one is home. At night it’s a big slumber party with the resident dogs and her foster parents! S’mores is working on basic commands with her foster family. She is great with dogs and kids. We are unsure about cats. If you are looking for s’more love, fun and cuddles, look no further than this little girl!

Hi there! My name is Flurry and I’m about as handsome as they come! I am very smart and learn new things pretty quickly. I am p*e pad trained and working on going to the potty outside. I am not crate trained but do a great job in a large penned area or even gated in a room like the kitchen. I sleep through the night in my penned area. I like other dogs but am most comfortable when I’m playing one on one. I need a little extra time to be comfortable if I’m introduced to more than 1 dog. I have never met a cat so I don’t know how I feel about them. A couple of very important things to know about me are that I am quite high maintenance when it comes to grooming. I have more fur than you can imagine and need to be brushed daily to make sure my fur does not get matted. It is also recommended that I am professionally groomed every 6-8 weeks. The other important thing to know is that I am a working dog and require a lot of exercise, training and mental stimulation every day. A home with a large fenced in yard for me to run and burn some of my energy off is a must. With proper grooming, lots of exercise, mental stimulation and training I will be the most loyal and loving pup you could hope for!

Hi, my name is Angel. I’m a shy girl so it’s a big deal that I am putting myself out here like this! You know what I love though? I love my foster sister Rosie Snort! She is my best friend and she shows me how much fun it is to be a dog! We love to play and then we cuddle up together and take a nap! That’s why I’m hoping to find a home with another confident dog to show me the ropes and help me thrive! When I meet new people, I take a bit to warm up to you, then I will gladly curl up in your arms to cuddle. I love to cuddle with my foster mom and foster sister. Do you like cuddles? I hope so! I’m p*e pad trained and my foster mom is working on basic commands, I’m not there yet but my foster sisters do a good job of showing me how!

Flurry is not available for adoption just yet, but he will be this month. If you’re interested, we strongly encourage researching the Samoyed breed to ensure it’s the right fit for your lifestyle.

Samoyeds are beautiful, intelligent, and affectionate, but they require high-maintenance grooming, ample exercise, and consistent training. Their thick double coat sheds heavily, and they thrive in active homes where they receive plenty of attention and mental stimulation. Known for their friendly and social nature, Samoyeds can make wonderful companions, but they aren’t a breed suited for everyone.

Take us down to the paradise city where the grass is green and the dogs are pretty, oh won’t you please take me home…. 🎸

Axel and Rose are each looking for their forever homes! With a rockstar name and good looks they are sure to win you over with their sweetness! They both are working really hard with their potty training considering they have had to deal with a lot of snow and cold at their foster home. Luckily, their foster mom is amazing and gets them out often to ensure they have no accidents! When they come inside they get a treat to let them know they did a good job! They are working on sitting and coming when their names are called. Both dogs love to play with each other and other dogs. They are respectful when a dog is not interested in playing. At night they settle down around 7:30 for some cuddling and sleep through the night in their crate!

Each dog is ready and waiting for their forever family to please, please take me home!
