Happy Thanksgiving! As we count our blessings this holiday and gobble gobble up the turkey and fixings, let's consider what a great nutrition profile it has for our pets!
Turkey is rich in macro nutrient protein and low in fat. It is also a moderate source of omega 3 & 6 which are beneficial fats. Turkey also has riboflavin, phosphorous, tryptophan, B6, niacin, iron, selenium, zinc, potassium. The dark meat also has taurine. So turley really is a superfood for your pet!

The FDA announced that a recall of possibly salmonella tainted expanded Thursday. Mid America Pet Food added multiple brands to the recall list.
