I like to try new clips, so it was a good excuse to make myself a new lead. The second clip on the handle has to be strong, lightweight and quick to clip on in emergencies. So far I like this combination.
12 foot double-ended sniffer lead with frog clip and carabiner on handle. The carabiner can be locked closed. I re-used the frog clip from my old lead.

We had to stop at a safe distance to observe the highly suspicious activity of these cones and road sign this morning. When he decided it was safe to proceed and question the intruders, it was discovered that they were telling us the path was closed. The path police were told to stand down and we proceeded to the other side of the road.👨‍🏭🧐

Lovely 15ft sniffari lead with frog clip and glow in the dark design. I also added a grip near the dog end to put their hand when they need to keep the dog close.

You too could have a 15ft lead so your dog can go and rummage under a tree for large sticks. Don't show your dog, they will be jealous.😆

Love a leisurely weekend morning sniffari.😍 So many smells in those leaves. Most weekday evening walks have been cut short in the last week because of fireworks going off so early.😞

Bespoke dog leads now available to order. Lots of colours, different choices of clips. Long leads for sniffaris, double ended for safety, personalised or not; any length, but I won't make slip leads.

Protect your dog from abuse of aversive tactics.

Select your dog professionals carefully.

Educate yourself how training methods affect dogs physically & psychologically, because I guarantee - they come with a hefty price dogs pay.

Don’t believe that your dog’s behaviour can be “fixed” in 1-2 sessions, because that is a lie. Any behaviour takes time to change.

Be prepared to invest in R+ training, because that is the only effective and 🇪​🇹​🇭​🇮​🇨​🇦​🇱​ way.

Don’t rely on shortcuts.

Trust the process, which yes, may take a while.

Don’t be afraid to ditch a professional if your dog is scared of them, or if your gut tells you.

Protect your dogs at all cost - they only have you to stand up for them.
