Which one do you have?
Heidi (the big lady with floppy ears) and Ciro (the smaller gentleman) are both 8 years old and come from a shelter...but their personalities could not be more different.
Besides making us laugh daily, they inspired us to design a more comfortable harness for dogs of weird shape!
PS: We did not ask Heidi to sit on command, she simply likes to contemplate and observe the world

Attention Dog Parents!🚩
Did you know there's a sensitive spot on your dog's back?
It's located right where the thoracic vertebrae transition into the lumbar vertebrae. Practically, in the middle of your dog's back.🐕
This area is very vulnerable, and it's exactly the spot where the leash attaches to most harnesses.
So during walks and movements, the heavy hook can bump your dog at the most sensitive area. Especially valid for small breeds. ☝️
To keep your furry friend comfortable and happy on walks, choose the harness that protects this vulnerable spot and opt for lighter hooks on your leashes.
Where does your dog love to explore the most on walks? Share your favorite spots!

Dog Gear Myth Busting - Part 1👇
We've all heard it: Harnesses cause pulling on leash. But is that really true?🤔
We are dog behavior professionals and will bust one myth every week, subscribe not to miss!
Let's get real - when our dogs pull on the leash, it's usually because something's not quite right. Maybe they're feeling stressed or anxious, or maybe they're just trying to sniff out all the good smells. Here are some common reasons why dogs pull:
🟡 You are walking too quickly and the dog learns to rush too
🟡 The dog has a very short leash and cannot sniff as much as they need to
🟡 The dog feels very stressed and does not cope with the walk
🟡 Stress can come from tools that cause pain / too long walks / too many triggers / lack of sleep, so many things!
🟡 The dog cannot slow down because something is off in their body: they are unstable / hurt somewhere, therefore they rush to stabilize
So, what's really going on with harnesses and pulling?✨ Honestly, it's not the harness itself - it's usually a sign of a deeper issue. By figuring out what's really going on, we can often fix the pulling problem without needing to train the dog. And the best part? A comfy, well-fitting harness, like the Canuzzo harness you see on these videos, can actually help your dog relax and pull less.

When we discovered this lifehack✨, our dogs started feeling much better about putting their gear on!🐶
Your dog will thank you too! Their hearing is very sensitive, so loud sound that the buckles on gear make can cause stress. And we don't want to start our walks with stress, right? Instead, we want a calm and relaxed dog who walks slowly, sniffs and does not pull.
Well, every detail matters. Your dog will LOVE this lifehack! And dogs of your friends too, please share 🥰

Our life transformed...
Meet Ciro. 🐶 His early life was tough—he moved through several shelters and three countries in just two years, being adopted and returned. On walks, he wore a collar and a short leash. His pulling was so intense, he would dig into the ground with his front paws, choking on his collar...
The internet suggested all sorts of restrictive solutions—choke collars, pulling back on the leash, making it as short as possible. But what truly made a difference was doing the opposite: giving him more freedom!😳
With an anatomically correct harness and a long lead, our walks transformed. Ciro began to slow down, sniff, and explore. Our bond grew stronger as he started to listen and respond to me. His stress levels dropped significantly, and his newfound freedom brought me peace as well.

In the modern world, dog gear ensures safety during walks, but it can impact your dog's movement and well-being. 👆 As dog behaviour specialists, we recommend choosing a harness over a collar for dogs of any age, breed and size. It’s because collars can easily damage❗ the internal organs of the neck and create permanent consequences for the dog’s body:
The neck of the dog🐕 hosts thyroid, nerves, blood vessels, trachea, and many other vital organs. All of them can easily get damaged with a sudden pull on the leash. And no dog is a robot (even trained ones), so pulls will definitely happen. You can put a collar on your dog to attach a silent address tag, but do not connect a leash to a collar.
A well-fitted Y-harness that doesn't cross the shoulders allows natural movement and maintains your dog's mobility health. 💛
