UPDATE
When I created this page, I was becoming overwhelmed with the situation at home and in my yard. I had brought indoors several cats from feral litters, got them fixed, vaccinated, and chipped. I would also (and continue to) provide food, water, and shelter to the outdoor ferals that frequent my yard, and have had some help with TNRing some of them, though more needs to be done.
I tried to use this page and other online efforts to find homes for some of the indoor cats, but found most of the situations in the responses unsuitable. Many wanted a kitten as an apartment moving-in gift for a son or daughter, often asking me to waive the adoption fee due to financial difficulties, which raised a concern as to how well the cat would be fed and looked after. Others wanted one as a barn cat, which would be hard on a cat that had become used to living indoors with regular feedings and other cats. Some even stated openly they would get a new cat declawed and let it outside, and already owned terrier dogs.
So even though I'd brought more cats indoors by then, I decided to suspend the adoption efforts and organize things at home to accommodate the indoor cats. They have access to their own "bathroom" with four Litter-Robots, and I have set up regular autoship orders for food and litter from Chewy.
I used to perform the occasional restaurant gig as a singer-guitarist to help finance the food, litter, and clinic visits for both indoor and outdoor cats, but the lockdown curtailed that. On the encouragement of friends, I have been learning how to live stream "gigs" at home that anyone can watch on YouTube. Viewers also have the option to tip the musician or donate directly for the kitties' benefit via Chewy eGift card if they wish.
