UPDATE ON EDNA!
She has completely recovered from her wounds and will be heading to the vet for another blood panel to check her anemic condition.

In the meantime we have taken in 2 more emergency kitties. PJ was with his mom when she ran out into the street and was hit by a truck that just kept on going! Little PJ ran to his mom and our Program Manager Ada just happened to see it all. Without giving any thought to herself, she parked her car and ran over to help mom but it was too late. But not for little PJ. She grabbed her up and took her to safety.

Our 2nd emergency was Royal, who was running around in one of the casino parking lots. He is about 7 months old, unaltered and not microchipped. We received the call and immediately took him in.

Please donate to our cause "Saving Our Community Cats" to help us continue to take these cats and kittens off the streets. You can go to www.palnv.org to donate. Thank you for helping😻

GIVING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2021

This is Edna. She was to be euthanized at 5pm. She had arrived at the shelter with a wound to her right hip and tail area. Her blood report showed anemia and infection. She was estimated to be 1 year. PALnv contacted the shelter and picked her up at 2pm. She has been evaluated to be 4-5 years. She is ear tipped so at some point in her life she was on the street, trapped, spayed and then put back on the street. She is a very sweet and loving cat that was abandoned at a young age only to be injured, taken to the shelter where she came to within 3 hours of dying.

Please donate to our mission of Saving Our Community Cats. Your donation will help us continue caring for cats like Edna!
