Not my original video, but OMG this is so true. If you have noise sensitivity and barking or whining sends you over the edge to the point that you'll end up not tolerating a dog in your house, DO NOT get any working breeds. Working breeds are not for you. FULL STOP and just DO NOT.

Over 10k on my dogs annually. 🤦♀️😱😭😅
Dogs are expensive. Taking care of dogs is expensive. Breeding is expensive. Breeding reputably, ethically, and responsibly is even more expensive.
2021 was 14k loss. With only 5k brought back in from puppies.
I'm still calculating 2022. I'm 1/2 way done in my calculations, and I'm up to 6k in losses. But only $2960 was brought in from puppies because one person hasn't paid, one person paid their deposit and decided to wait for a different litter (the available female), I had 4 co-owns (who only pay $100 to $250 for their co-own fees, depending on the age of the puppy), and have only had 2 of the 8 puppies paid for in full. I'm not complaining, I still love what I do because those that have my puppies are very happy with them. I'm just making the point that breeders aren't making the big bucks that people think they are. Breeding is expensive and stressful and can be terrifying, traumatizing, and heartbreaking But, it does have its joys.
