Last client of the day was super sweet girl Rosie and we went through some exercises that her mum can practice with her on walks so that she can feel better around other dogs & people. I enjoyed lots of cuddles from her and she enjoyed lots of yummy snacks from me - win win!

I’m going to let you in on a little secret…I’m worn out!! 😴

Like all of us, I’m juggling a career, family, looking after a house and trying to have some semblance of a social life! So I absolutely 100% understand that dog training is not always your priority. That’s why the activities and exercises I ask clients to work on between sessions or classes can be done on their normal walks or can be practiced in a few minutes whilst you’re waiting for the kettle to boil for that next caffeine hit!

I would urge you that if time is the factor putting you off starting training, it won’t be an issue! The bigger issue will come if you try to ignore the problem and it escalates (which it likely will) Training programs are built around you, your lifestyle and what is realistic. So proud of Ginger this girl doesn’t give up! Last week we had a bad week and she wouldn’t even walk past a wheelie bin but today she’s sailing past dogs, people , bins and everything like a pro!
Dogs have good days and bad days just like us and it’s normal to have regressions in training but be consistent and you’ll continue to make progress overall!
Go Ginger girly! 🫚
