NO LONGER AVAILABLE Goldendoodle!!!
Captain is a one-year-old goldendoodle who has a super personality. He is calm, listens to commands, doesn’t jump or pull or have any other bad habits. ⬇️
He is a great family dog - not overbearing at all. He is potty and crate trained and has had a ton of socialization at nursing homes, farm stores, disk golfing, market nights, etc.
Captain is up to date on his vaccinations and doesn’t shed! He would make a super dog for therapy work in nursing homes or hospitals - he’s the correct height and personality.

Meet Buddy!
This lil dude is 14 weeks old, super sweet, smart, and looking for someone to take the leash! Buddy is a pointer/shepherd mix with lots of brains. Potty training is going smoothly, and he's not a chewer nor problem child.
As you can see, he enjoys water 😊 Until he finds his new home, training will continue.

Had to share this beautiful picture taken by my sister of Micah, a dog we off leash trained last fall.
It's such a blessing to have these dogs back for boarding occasionally AND see that they're well mannered!
To all you motivated and consistent owners - thank you!

More service dog training with Star and her owner, Jess! 🐾🐕🦺
This time we went to Perkins to add a food distraction and practice the "under" task. 🥞🍳
This way, the dog is tucked under the table and can't get stepped on.
Star is a natural. She laid there contentedly for an hour or more.
The TEAM - dog and owner- is doing so well!

Got out on the town with my sister to do some service dog training with Star (the poodle) and her owners, pet dog socialization (Hazel the Frenchie 😁), shelter dog training Almost Home Iowa and just have plain fun together!

35° out, but the dogs don't care! Tucker and his buddy Roby took a little swim this chilly afternoon.
Tucker will be going to his new home in a few months with Samantha, where his love for serving people in combination for his love for water will be much appreciated.
He will have completed his training as a seizure alert & response service dog. Tucker is being trained to not only cue his new handler by odor for an incoming seizure but to notice and alert her to physical cues like leg bouncing, for example.
He already has a solid start on the training, and I've been told his love for water will be enjoyed at the lake with his new family ❤️
We'll be training together over the next several months to create a tighter bond and ensure reliable performance.

🌸 🐾 Spring is around the corner, and dog training is ramping up! My schedule is getting even busier, and I need your help!
That being said, I have a few doggos that have completed their companion/pet training and who now need NEW HOMES!
⚓ Bruno has completed our most extensive training program (off leash Advanced Obedience & Recalls) and is now looking for you to adopt him!
He's an active, eager to learn 9 year old pit mix that I trained and am currently fostering from Almost Home Iowa
This is a super deal y'all. I've taken nearly all the risks out of getting this boy, his training AND adoption fee is waived, and he's a great all around doggo!
Please, PLEASE tell your friends about this boy! I don't have enough time or resources to adopt all doggos, so I need you to spread the word! He does amazing at home but is SO pitiful and terrible in the kennel. I don't want him to go back!
⚓ Next, I have a purebred female German Shepherd (working line) named Quilla looking for her forever home! She's fully off leash trained, 2 years old, and is super with kids and in the home. She has no problem behaviors and is well socialized.
She loves to hunt rabbits or squirrels when outside and to be pet and snuggled with while inside.
Her genetics are solid, too, with great hips/elbows/everything in her line 😉. Lots of research went into her lineage, and I paid $2,000 for her as an 8 week old pup.
Now, I'm asking $4,000 obo.
That includes:

Good times 😎 We did a building search/apprehension training and detection Tuesday in a fire station.
Thankful for amazing K9s and committed handlers. K9 Stano did super, and I have bruises to prove it!

Week 4 Day 2 | Seizure Odor Service Dog Training | Anchored Canine
🐕🦺 Week 2 Day 3 Seizure Odor Training! | Service Dog Training | Anchored Canine Today Tucker is slowing down and recognizing the odor. he pauses as if to say, "it's right HERE!" His body language is easily read by me, but that's not the goal. We need him to clearly alert with that nudge cue! He's getting it, but as you can see, it's a process! Our goal is to change up the location of the boxes this week and next week. After he's solid with that, we'll start placing the odor on a person!
Seizure Odor Training | Week 2 Day 2 | Anchored Canine I'm asking Tucker to alert to the odor a little harder now by nudging! He's been pretty soft in the past, but we're slowly inching toward the goal!
Winter Fun with the Pack ❄️🐾 The dogs dug several tunnels in hopes of capturing a rabbit...I'm amazed at the results. They are big dog snow tunnels! I think the canine species is made to dig 🤔 😂

Day 5 Seizure Alert Service Dog Training | More Nudge Work | Anchored Canine He's getting it! Tucker is recognizing the difference in the seizure odor box, and he's super enthusiastic. I'm still asking him for an alert, but it shouldn't take long before he starts doing it on his own. Also, we're getting fresh cotton swabs in the mail any day now!! Day 4 Public Access Training + | Anchored Canine Tucker practiced LONG down stays underneath the tables, the nudge, wrap (DPT) etc. this past week. He's doing great! Day 2 Seizure Odor Training | Service Dog Training | Anchored Canine #servicedog #dogtraining #dog Tucker is being trained for an important job - to alert his future owner to an oncoming seizure BEFORE it happens, so preparations can be made to prevent injuries. In this video Tucker is on day 2 of actual odor training. We'll soon introduce our alert, which is a nudge or poke from his nose. In the meantime, we want him to understand the seizure odor as the smell he's looking for. Follow me to watch the whole process, as we'll be making videos of his training weekly, if not daily.
