Wagtail Walks - Shedfield & surrounding areas

It's been a crazy busy week here at Wagtail. Three walks Monday, Tuesday & today and four walks on Wednesday and Thursday :o Playing beat the heat it meant starting our 1st walk at 6.15am a couple of days.
We certainly made use of the wonderful shady woodland around us and the lovely river Meon. The downs this morning were truly glorious at 8am with a welcome cooling breeze.
Only one job booked in for the week end which is feeding/checking a couple of horses. I am looking forward to spending some time with my own horse but it will mean an early rise as it's going to be hot, hot, hot!!!!
Now to pop my feet up with a nice cool drink :D

1st an early walk on the downs. The 2nd group had a spa day and great fun in the river and then on to a shady walk in the woods for the 3rd group.

Phew am I glad for the air conditioning in the new van. Much nicer for myself and the dogs. Walks were bought forward today and we were up on the downs just after 8am. The next 2 walks were slow sniffy ones in the shade of lovely trees so not too uncomfortable at all 😊 It will be the same routine over the next couple of days.

The boys were having a ball. The girly was not for joining the rough and tumble and elected to keep an eye on matters from the safety of dry land just in case one of yhem needed saving 😂

A very warm Wagtail welcome to two new faces this week. Otto who will be with us for a couple of months until his family relocate (think I may have dog napped him by then as he is so lovely) and Monty who is joining us on Fridays. They make a perfect team with my other golden girl 😍

Wishing Barney a very warm Wagtail Welcome or rather a welcome back. Barney was one of my 1st two dogs that I started with almost two and a half years ago. Sadly for me when covid hit Barney stayed at home with his family. Now that life is returning to normal and everyone is back to work Barney is coming out to play once again. I now have a cocky poo in each colour 😂😂🥰

Just the two walks today plus a late afternoon visit to check/feed/rug the 2 hoofers. It was lovely wandering through the woods with the 2 spaniels as haven't been on this walk for a few months.
