With permission from Linda, I am writing this post to notify everyone about her current condition. Linda was life flighted to Boise on Tuesday after a cat scan revealed that her migraine headaches were actually 2 brain aneurysms. She had a surgery to remedy the bleeds but will be monitored in the ICU at the discretion of her doctors and then moved to recovery after they feel they are in the clear. We are all so thankful God was watching out for her and that all of her treatment has been successful so far. So if any of you have emailed or messaged her regarding the Race for Charity event, weddings, or any other events, please know she isn’t ignoring them but not able to provide a response at this time. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We would truly appreciate it!

Racing for Charity, Inc.

Racing for Charity, Inc. was founded in 2020 for the purpose of raising funds for charitable organizations in the Magic Valley. Motivated by the difficult year for many nonprofit organizations, a small group of local people joined forces, forming an entity to provide critical funding; thus, Racing For Charity, Inc., was founded. The first fundraising event being hosted by Racing for Charity is a Kentucky Derby Celebration at Fleur de Lis Ranch May 1, 2021 featuring Kentucky Derby themed activities. Fleur de Lis Ranch, Farmers Bank and the Janice Seagraves Foundation have committed to title sponsorships. All directors and other volunteers are donating their time and energy to this event assuring that 100% of the proceeds will benefit local charities.

Attention South Idaho Artists! Racing for Charity, Inc., is having a call for entry for our first annual Kentucky Derby Celebration taking place May 1, 2021. The lucky winner will receive $500 cash as well as their artwork featured in advertising promotions. The deadline for entries is February 15th, 2021. Please see attached flier for all the details!

A message from Gordy regarding upcoming events.......

Hey y’all, this is Gordy, coming to you not live from the Hot Tub. We understand this is a tough time for everyone.
We are praying that we all get through this sooner than later and that we can put the COVID-19 behind us.3rd Annual Birthday Benefit Bash.
For the health of our fans, bands, sponsors, and all of our Hwy 30 Music Fest family, the health of this great nation is our top priority.
If local, state, and federal governments still deem it unsafe to have a gathering, as we have already stated, we will postpone the birthday benefit to a later date or until authorities have deemed it safe to hold social events.
We are praying that we all get through this sooner then later and that we can put the COVID-19 behind us.
We are a very strong community and nation and know that together we can conquer anything.
We are trying to be a light at the end of the tunnel and giving everyone something to look forward to, but as we have already stated, we would never put anyone’s health at risk.
We are praying and asking everyone to join us in prayer or good vibes that the COVID-19 has been cured or the curve has been flattened by then and we can go back to normal lives.
Know that all involved in this event would never, ever jeopardize anyone’s health or go against local, state and federal officials.

What this world needs right now is more positive things and things to look forward to. Together, we will overcome this darkness and bring a new light into our country.
