My Little pirate Melon babies are going well, and I swear 2 of them are throwing their eye te****les

In Boxing Day last year I found 3 baby melons who were missing they're left eye te****le. I decided to seperate them because I wanted to watch them grow and observe them. While I was away for a week they tripled in size and I think 2 of them, the same 2 who still kid off had a little nub of an eye te****le, are growing back they're eyes. While number 3, last photo, still has no left eye te****le, which isn't stopping him from growing and living his snail life.

Anyone else ever find surprise eggs/babies?

I was away for a week, the week before last, and when I came home I found the eggs in the last picture, then searched the rest of the tub and find no other eggs.

This morning I checked under the terracotta hide in the first photo and found the soil piled up, it hadn't been last night, and a few saw eggs including some that were hatching. After 20 minutes of carefully excavating the eggs/babies I got them in another container, I bet they were laid when the others were and hidden really well.

Now I have 2 sets of surprise clutches and will get to watch them grow in the next few said to see whose babies they are.

Anna has been digging the last few days to find a good place to lay eggs, this morning I dug up find her and after digging a bit lower, found her eggs. She then got a nice warm shower and first dibs on fresh carrot

Anna has been burying herself about recently and tonight if was difficult to find her but when I did she was laying eggs!!! So I put her back in her little nest finish in peace

I ordered a new Xanthomelon Magnidicum this week, she arrived with a little chip in her shell (picture in comments), so I named her "Chip". Hoping 3 melon snails will be more productive (or reproductive hehe) than 2.

My sister had been saying there were snails in her mailbox, and I thought Reginald would like some friends so I went over last night and collected the snails with the help of my niece's.
I think Reginald likes his new friends, there will probably be many more garden snails for sale in the coming weeks and months
