I walk this cute little Yorkie, Ruby. She is the sweetest girl and gets super excited when I come to see her. She gets so excited that she smiles and hops around. I took a ton of pictures of her, trying to get one of her smiling. And then, it happen.....a picture of those pretty whites!!!🩷🐾🩷

I just got the most amazing text!!! Silas, the beautiful boy below just became a big brother!!!🩵 His mom just gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl!!!💖 I am so happy for this growing family. Congratulations to Danika, Antonio, Amari and Silas.🥰

It is moments like this that make me cherish my job! There are no words for the bonds I build with the pets and families I care for.

Hello DoggieStylez friends and family. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season. I just wanted to remind everyone and post again for all my new followers that I will be having surgery on January 9, 2024. I will not be able to drive or do any petsitting for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks I will be on strict restrictions for 4 weeks. I will be back to work BUT I will have to be picky about what jobs I take. Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask if you need anything, my daughter Hayli will be helping me out. She has helped me since I started my business and many of you already know her. She is great with all animals. It is very important to me to heal but also provide the best care to the DoggieStylez Family.

This has really good information on feeding raw to your dog's. Yes raw bones are good for them. Never feed your dog cooked bones.

Hey DoggieStylez family! I wanted to let everyone know I will be having surgery January 9th, 2024. Unfortunately with this surgery I will be unable to drive and will be required to rest and recover for 2 weeks. Then for 4 weeks following that I will be on very light duty. I will be doing some pet sitting in those 4 weeks but will have to be very careful. But I have some good news. My daughter Hayli Trotter is willing to help with my pet sitting. Many of you know her and she has helped with your babies in the past. As the time gets closer and you would like to set up pet sitting and would like to meet her, we can schedule a meet and greet with her.
Thank you so much for your understanding and corporation during this time. I will do everything in my power to accommodate your needs.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY CHEAP FLEA PRODUCTS! I totally understand that flea/tick products can be expensive. But there is a reason why you can buy cheap grocery store products. They can cause chemical burns on your pet's skin. It is extremely painful for your pet and very expensive for you to treat. It will leave a scar and a reminder of the mistake you made. The picture below is of an actual pet with chemical burns from flea prevention. This is not my picture, I got it from someone I know.

Please get advice from your veterinary if you have questions.

This is Nala. Nala is very playful, loves to go on walks, only likes to eat when people are around (so sometimes I hand feed her to get her eating) and is super affectionate. Oh and she loves treats, but who doesn't?!?.🤣 I love spending time with her because we play and love on each other. As you can see from the pictures below, we definitely have love-love relationship. 🩷

This is Leo and Odie. Odie the orange tabby is super sweet and loves pets. Leo is diabetic and has to have insulin injects twice a day. He doesn't exactly enjoy them but as long as I go slow he is pretty good for them. However, he only let's me pet him on his terms. When he does let me pet him, he is clear when he is done being friendly. 😂 One main thing I love about my job, is all the different personalities. Each animal has their own personality and you have to respect that.

This is old man Rusty. He is one of my first pets to sit for. He is 14 so all he likes to do is eat, soak up some rays and sleep. We always spend some time outside, then when he gets nice and hot we go in and snuggle on his ottoman. He is the sweetest. He always brings the calm after some of my crazy houses.🤣

Below is a statement made by a client that has only used me 2 times so far. However, with that said, I think I have a client and a friend for life. The very first time I watched her pets for her, a huge situation came up that I had never dealt with before. I communicated with Gina and gave her my opinion and we handled the situation the best the way the two of us could. I did everything in my power to ensure open communication with the client. Gina and her babies will have a special place in my heart.
When looking for a pet sitter always make sure you find someone you trust and has open communication with you.

Update:
Hello all my two and four legged friends!!!!! I have been meaning to do an update for some time now. I haven't posted much the last year due to some medical issues that have come up. So for those of you that don't know on June 11th, 2022 I had a bad fall and broke my back in 3 places. I broke my C2, C3 and C4. Luckily they were brakes that were able to heal on their own, so no surgery. I was in a back brace for a while. Unfortunately 2 weeks later, I developed a blood clot in my right lung. It a couple days and a couple ER visits to get diagnosed. I spent 4 days in the hospital. By the time it got diagnosed I was pretty sick. I developed a fever and was close to developing pneumonia. I was placed on blood thinners for 6 months. My back is healed and my clot is completely gone. Yay!!!! I do have some back pain occasionally but nothing that like it was.

Then the beginning of 2023 I had some other medical issues come up that I am still dealing with. My goal is to have surgery after Labor Day.

When I was out for my back and the blood clot, my daughter, Hayli, helped me with my pet sitting. She has been my side kick since she was little so she knows alot about animals and is a huge animal lover like me. The animals love her, sometimes more than me.😂 She is great with aggressive and fearful dogs. Something about her personality, soothes them. I am so thankful for her and all my clients that trusted her to care for their babies while I was stuck in bed and healing.

I have been back to pet sitting full time and love being with all my fur babies. I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all my clients who trust me to watch their babies while they are gone. I am completely honored to have your trust. I know it is hard to find a care giver you can completely trust in your home with your beloved fur family.

Thank you so much to all my clients for your trust and commitment. I always promise to treat your babies as if they are mine. 🩷🩵

It's a good feeling when the dogs you care for are so comfortable with you that when you show up for the first visit after the family leaves, they don't even get up. There was no barking or anything. I was calling "Lexie" because I noticed as soon as I walked into the house that the kennel door was open. All she did was left her head and look at me.😄❤
