Thank you everyone, our Super Bowl and championship games football pool is completely full. If you owe, payment must be received by January 10 or squares will be released for sale. Thank you everyone again!

You get ALL 3 games for $80 per square. You will keep the same square for all three games. Numbers will change after Halftime for each game.

Oliver is a special needs boy who is in need of a special, long term foster or foster-to-adopt home. This handsome, 4 month old Mini Bernadoodle was born with a pretty significant heart murmur, and according to the echo performed on him, severe pulmonic stenosis with thickening of the pulmonic valve, and he will most likely require surgery to repair his heart. We are actually hopeful that he is a candidate for surgery.

Unfortunately, there are no pet cardiologists in the area that can perform such a surgery and we will have to take him to Pittsburgh Veterinary Cardiology in Pittsburgh PA for evaluation, prognosis and treatment.

In the meantime, we are hopeful that there is that special person or family out there that can provide him with a loving home, at least until we have some better answers regarding his future. The rescue will pay all expenses related to his care and medical expenses. We will also transport him to and from appointments in Pittsburgh, PA.

Oliver is a gorgeous Merle-colored boy with big blue eyes. He is a tad shy at first, but when he decides you're good people, he is the most affectionate pup you'll meet. He will follow you everywhere you go and will be the most loving and devoted companion you will ever encounter. For the foreseeable future, his exercise will have to be restricted, which means no vigorous play. He can, however go for short walks on a leash and play with toys in the house. He's not a hyper boy anyway, so thus far it hasn't been difficult to keep his activity level low.

Oliver's future is uncertain and we know it is probably a lot to ask, but we know there are those people out there who look to help the special dogs like Oliver, so we thought we would give it a try.

It's not Oliver's fault that he's sick. You see, merle dogs are more prone to heart issues, but I'm sure they are bred for their beauty. He's an innocent casualty of that. We will do everything in our power to make him well so that he can go on to live a normal, happy doggie life.

One of the “Winnie the Pooh gang” is Eeyore. He is 1 of 6 to make the long ride to freedom in NY..and boy are we happy they did. Eeyore is a sweet boy that can be a little shy at times. He is about 6 weeks old and will be ready to go to his forever home soon! He is dog, cat and kid friendly. We are unsure of his breed but his mom is about 50 lbs and a medium sized dog.

DUE TO OVERWHELMING RESPONSE, WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR PISTACHIO
Pistachio ✨

** Golden retriever mix
** Male
** 6 months old
** Good with dogs
** expected adult weight: ~ 25 lbs

Pistachio came to us with his brothers - Pistachio starts out timid but warms up fairly quickly. Once he does warm up, he's a real cuddle bug. When he is outdoors with his mom, he rubs against her legs kind of like a kittie would. He is doing very well with pottying outdoors and is also doing great with crate training. He sleeps in his crate overnight with no issues or accidents. He may whine a bit at first (as most puppies do), but then settles down. Indoors, he will sit in your lap and fall asleep, but he's also a playful pup. He gets along great with the resident dog in his current foster home. Pistachio very much enjoys playing with toys. He was perfect for vaccinations and nail trims, as well as baths (considering he likely never had one before). Once Pistachio knows he’s safe- he warms right up.

The only thing on Elvis' list for Santa paws this year is his very own home in time for Christmas.

Elvis is a real sweetheart and loves everyone he meets, both 2 legged and 4 legged. He plays fetch, is learning to sit and is very treat motivated. He is crate trained and is working on his potty training. After running around in the snow, Elvis loves to join his foster mom for some snuggles and playing with toys. This easy going boy would be a great addition to most any family.

So this ultra sweet momma and her 6 five week old babies came into our care this week. The day after they arrived we had to make a rush vet appointment...thank you to Boston Valley Animal Hospital for fitting us in at a moment's notice. Mom and all 6 puppies were very sick and lethargic and their foster mom was so worried she may lose some of them. After some meds and lots of clean up that comes with caring for sick puppies and a mom, they seem to have turned a corner and are on the mend. Thanks to our awesome foster mom Denise Schmitz Naedele , who endured a couple of days of endless clean ups and constant worry, this little family is safe, warm, loved and now, feeling so much better 🥰. If you're out at a store and see some great deals on cleaning supplies (paper towels, disinfectant wipes and sprays, bleach, laundry detergent etc.), we are always in need of those things. Also items such as rice, chicken broth, bone broth, canned pumpkin will always be put to good use!

Congratulations to our recent adoptions! Miss Daisy, Chai, Brûlée, Lattè, Mera, Clark Kent, Wren, and Bernadette have all found their forever homes! Thank you to all who made it possible for these cuties to find their forever homes!

Glinda is a 3-year-old long hair chihuahua. She weighs approximately 8 lbs. and is a beautiful, tan/cream color and SO FLUFFY! Glinda is timid and a little skittish with new people at first. It doesn’t take very long for her to warm up and want to cuddle. She loves ear scratches and chin rubs. And belly rubs! This girl has no modesty – the belly comes out pretty quick!! She is a fur-covered love bubble! She does well with the other dogs in her foster home. She has just started to play with them a tiny bit. She is not a fan of the winter snow (yet!) and is learning about how to use potty pads in the house since her foster mom works. So much is brand-new to her: house breaking, how to walk on a leash, what to do with a dog bed, and even squeaky toys are foreign and slightly scary right now. But she is a very smart girl and is very proud when she learns something new. She loves to please her family. She is going to be an amazing family member once she finds and then learns how things work in her forever home. It won’t take her long – she is ready for a family of her own.

I’m a local pup that needs a new family, due to my Dad getting all sneezy, weezy, itchy scratchy. I am just 1 year old and weigh about 80lbs. Just when I thought I found a chill dude to be my dad, but alas, his allergies landed me with my awesome Grandparents.
