Safety reminder ⚠️ for the spooky season
Clever girl Ruby-Roo learning some impulse control. We started with teaching "leave it" = tasty reward.
Then we introduced a small treat under my shoe, every time she backed away when we said "leave it" she got a reward.
After a few minutes Ruby understood that it was more rewarding to not try for the treatos on the floor even if they were dropped and rolled.
The smartest of puppers!

"Rollercoaster Games" are typically games that involve a mix of high-energy play followed by calm, controlled activities - can offer several benefits for young dogs:
1. **Physical Exercise**: These games provide an outlet for your dog's energy, helping maintain a healthy weight and improving overall fitness.
2. **Mental Stimulation**: The dynamic changes in pace challenge your dog’s brain, promoting problem-solving skills and helping prevent boredom.
3. **Improved Focus and Impulse Control**: Alternating between high-energy play and calming activities teaches your dog to switch gears quickly, enhancing impulse control and focus.
4. **Strengthened Bond**: Engaging in play fosters a stronger bond between you and your dog, improving trust and communication.
5. **Emotional Balance**: Rollercoaster-style play helps young dogs learn to manage excitement and calm down afterward, contributing to emotional regulation and reduced anxiety.
These games can be fun and rewarding for both you and your dog, supporting their physical and mental development.
