JOB DUTIES:
Duties include cleaning dog kennels, caring for the animals including bathing, feeding, medicating, taking out boarding dogs to play yards and supervising dog daycare play groups. We take the cleanliness at our facility very seriously. Therefore, this job involves constant cleaning of messes and sanitizing of building in order to maintain a neat and clean appearance. This position is approximately 35 hours per week but could be more or less during certain times of the year. This work is labor intensive and is physically demanding requiring a great deal of stamina. You will be dealing with strong, large and very playful dogs and will be on your feet for extended periods of time.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified applicants will be very self-motivated, enthusiastic and competent about working in a fast-paced, pet-focused, team environment. Previous pet experience in similar kennel environment is preferred but we will consider other well qualified applicants.
All applicants should be at least 18 years old, be able to take direction with a positive attitude and work well within a team, be punctual and dependable and be passionate about working with animals.
You must be able to work weekends and holidays and have reliable and dependable transportation. This does not mean you will have to work every weekend or holiday. Do NOT apply if you cannot work on holidays and/or weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
