This is Grace and Millie yesterday, doing brilliantly training on a course from the European Championships, they are so cool
Myrtles Championship agility run today, I’m so pleased with her, I so enjoy the buzz of champ. I didn’t realise she was marked on her dw tho 🤣🤣
This is Nala Nugget this week who is such a cool girl. She has so much drive but she listens so well, well done. Sarah xx
Oscar having fun in the sun
We had a very cold morning at Pawsability show this morning, but it was worth the effort. Ted managed a grade 😂3 agility win and Jungle was amazing only to be let down by my lazy handling!
This is Skyla’s other agility run - not perfect as far as results go but so cool showing loads of great skills. These guys are new to competing and this was their first time at an indoor venue. I’m so impressed- congratulations 🥳
We managed some brilliant training this week, - these guys are fabulous. Front cross wing wraps, and front crosses on the menu this week as well as Germans !
I had an amazing morning training with Dave Munnings, one if not the best trainer in the country. Jingle was a little gem, lots to work on over the winter, but such fun to train
This is Maya. Here she is learning some distance handling with her owner staying the other side of the tunnel. This is a huge success for Maya as she likes to stay as close to her owner as possible. This was a sequence from the Australian Championship’s!! - Go Maya!!
This is Marcus and Maya. They have been training with me for a while now and are amazing. This is a course by Neil Ellis from the show at the weekend - ❤️❤️❤️
This is Inky and his young handler doing some amazing distance handling today - he is such a good boy xx
Myrtle had a fab weekend chasing dragons at Caerphilly show. She won her last grade 6 class to progress to grade 7 and Championship level.
I’m soo chuffed I now have mum Dusty and daughter Myrtle at Champ level it’s soo wonderful to have my homebred baby in champ.
Here is her run … and the second is where I go wrong have a chat with the judge (who is the best judge in the country) and he tells me I’m an idiot!! 🤣🤣
Today I achieved a bit of an ambition for me. I have wanted to qualify for the Agility Stakes quarter finals which used to be called Olympia stakes which are held at the London Horse Show which is held just before Christmas.
And Today Myrtle and I did just that. I’m over the moon and to add it to Myrtles Sister Mica also qualified and her other sister Bambam has already qualified. This dogs were breed by me from Dusty. - proud breeder moment ❤️❤️
Championship Agility
I’m lucky to compete in championship classes with Dusty. In order qualify to compete in these classes you have to win up through the grade’s from the start point of grade 1 up to grade 7(getting multiple wins at each grade)
A championship class consists of 2 rounds . A jumping round which has just jumps, tunnels and weaves, and an agility round which has the contact equipment of A frame, seesaw and dog walk as well.
The top 20 dogs go through to the champ final
This is Dustys jumping and agility rounds from the weekend. She missed the weave entry in the jumping which cost us 5 faults but then we had a disagreement about which jump she needed to take in the agility and we got eliminated!! 🤣🤣
I’m chuffed with how she is running she’s not a spring chicken and will probably retire at the end of the season, but she is looooving competing soo much atm xx❤️
Woody at his first attempt at a threadle wrap !! Not bad eh ?
What a beautiful day today. It was quite warm so doggies cooled off in the river ❤️🐟🐠🐠🏞️🐕🐶
Ted managed his first clear round and came away with second place !!
This is quite good for Ted I’m very pleased
Daisy and Coco absolutely nailed this weeks course !! Beautiful work guys well done xx - Julie Dwyer
Puppy Training in the sun yesterday- I love this group
With the field being absolutely wet and soggy this week, so sorry to all those that have had lessons cancelled, all I could do was a quick 5 minutes of weave training with Jingle. Obviously we are getting some fails - that’s normal, but the start is looking promising
