Heavenly Father,
We come before You, the Creator of all things, with humble hearts, seeking Your divine protection from Hurricane Helene. We know that even the winds and the seas obey Your command, and so we trust in Your sovereignty over this storm. Lord, we ask You to calm the winds, still the waves, and shield all those in the path of this hurricane.
Place a hedge of protection around every home, every family, and every person affected. Let Your angels stand guard over all who call upon Your name, providing safety and shelter in the midst of the storm. We ask for Your mercy, that no harm or devastation may come to the people, the land, or their belongings.
Lord, be the refuge for those who are afraid, and give peace to their hearts. Grant wisdom and strength to those in positions of leadership and rescue, guiding them with Your Holy Spirit to act with clarity and compassion. We pray for comfort for those already feeling the weight of fear, and for the calm assurance that You are with them, even now.
In the name of Jesus, we declare that no force of nature, no power of destruction, can ever separate us from Your love and protection. You are the Lord of peace in the storm, and we stand on Your promises that You will never leave us nor forsake us.
Father, we place our trust in You, knowing that Your hand is mighty to save. We pray all this in Jesus' name.
