Loving how we're progressing,,6 weeks ago the op was done and he has been very slowly gaining condition,,also growing in confidence with his new herd/friends and of course his handler, aka,,me!!

The BFG Charmer had to undergo some much needed dental work as priority,,,he had been living in so much pain and discomfort for some time, this has now been sorted and with good nursing care and rehabilitation we are looking forward to seeing him thrive, he's such a lovely soul ❤🐎

The loveliest newest member of Lochview RRR,, meet Charmer, aka Minella Charmer,,retired from racing in February 2022.
What a BFG this rather tall gent is,,Charmer is also blind in one eye,a racing injury which caused the retina to detach so he needed somewhere quiet and safe to come too,,at only just turned 11 years old he has a lot of years left we hope and once all the rehab is done, myself Jennifer is hoping that he will be suitable for a walk out under saddle 🤞

More fantastic improvements being made at the yard, lighting this time!✨️

We have been struggling with the lack of proper lighting around the buildings for years and we were finally able to get what we needed done, again with the help of another brilliant friend.

There's always more to be done, but we're getting there.

As if this little lady needed any help in making her legs look shorter!

The horses were all very happy to get their hay this morning. I don't know if we just happened to miss the forecast, but we didn't expect to wake up to this ❄️❄️❄️

We'll be able to share more of what we do once the weather improves, like many we're just trying to power through the winter just now.
