Well let’s just go with all W’s ,
Wet, Windy, weather at Williams!!!!
Friday found us cold wet and wondering what the weather gods had in store and if the weekend would work out, but some really smart decisions from the committee had us all full steam ahead !
And what a wonderful stress free laid back weekend it ended up being!
Congratulations Williams committee!
And the Cattle 🐄 what wonderful cattle, we couldn’t have been luckier 🤩🤩🤩

To top off the weekend
Our horses brought home a loot of goods !
Some absolutely fantastic top cut out run off’s saw us bring home almost all open classes but one,as I Kath Smith let the team down and handed it over to the lovely gentleman Bruce.

What a sensational event run by Southern Forest Campdraft , the cattle where super 🤩 weather was fantastic, the mornings where beautiful and it was such a organised and enjoyable weekend! Congratulations to the committee 🙌👏👏

Well what a fantastic weekend at the Capel Campdraft and Challenge,
We got all dressed up and headed out for the Challenge, it was a wonderful display of horses and horsemanship with a wonderful atmosphere, all the horses excelled and we even maybe saw James Roxburgh get his new hat slightly dirty 🤭
But Dusty once again excelled in the challenge!
Challenge results:
Junior Challenge
1st place 🥇 Dustin on Indy’s Oak with a 147
4th place Dustin on Tack O Lena with 102
Rookie 6yrs and over
3rd Kath Smith on Tack O Lena with a 164
7th James Roxburgh on Sissy with a 159

From the Challenge we went into the Campdraft and once again it was Dustin bringing home the ribbons

So it’s been pretty busy here at Sparrowhawk Equine, the truck has been on the road every weekend from Mt Barker to Capel, Manjimup to coolup, Williams and back.
The horses are finally having a weekend off to rest.
What a team of horses we are lucky enough to have on the truck, bringing ribbons home from every draft. Of Course it’s Dustin on fire 🔥 and showing us how it’s done ✅ 🌟

The Sparrowhawk truck was out and about over the last couple off weekends at Dardanup and Boar Swamp Campdrafts, 🐴🌟great weekends and all horses worked fantastic 🤩once again the truck came home with some excellent results! some blue ribbons and a Top cut out with some wonderful prizes! Congratulations James and Dusty on your fantastic achievements 👏 James Won the Maiden at Boar Swap on Sissy out of 227 competitors! 🌟🌟👏👏

CAMPDRAFT CLINIC
With Jim Daley and James Roxburgh

MBCC is proud to present a two day campdraft clinic on the 10th and 11th December with two of WA’s most highly regarded campdrafters. Jim and James are both accomplished horsemen, competitors and open judges, and we are thrilled to present the opportunity to attend a clinic of this caliber in the Great Southern.

Entries via ABCRA iCompete opening Friday 25th November. ABCRA offers event membership (day memberships) so participants do not need to be full members of the ABCRA to attend. First option will be given to active MBCC club members and local contributors, but this clinic is open to all. This will be a fun and inclusive event, no previous campdrafting experience is necessary. Any interested people are encouraged to enter.

Feel free to contact Jo if you need assistance with entries or would like further info, but please wait until at least Friday when entries are out. Entries will be open until the 5th December.

Well what a massive 2 weeks with both Eneabba Campdraft and Gingin Campdraft Club Inc. done and dusted, as well as a quick clinic in between 🙌
The truck brought home some beautiful ribbons and prizes , Of course Dusty is the superstar 🌟🙌 over both drafts but both James and I brought home a Top cut out win each on Tack’O’Lena in the open at Eneabba and Rest open at Gingin. James also placed 6th on Boonara Carnival 👏
Sorry I missed Gingin but I was out and about at the Working Equitation National Finals at Tamworth, what a experience! Huge thank you to all the cattle Donors and sponsors and the committee’s of these events 👏👏👏👏👏

Next is Women in Campdrafting next weekend and I’m just so excited 😃😃 Bring on The colour Pink !

Absolutely fantastic weekend with the Working Equitation group, some slight showers here and there but the weather held together for a pleasant weekend, Saturday saw Dressage with Maggie and Maneability with introduction to cattle 🐄 then a wonderful evening feed with chats at the fire and discussion of the 4th phase (cattle phase )
Sunday was glorious and everyone did a great job of working the cattle in teams for the first time.
🌟We thank everyone who came and enjoyed the weekend 🌟
It was a absolute pleasure meeting you all 🤩
