💜 Mounted Games 💜

Still catching up from Mini Camp and love these pictures Tasha captured whilst I was busy organising the afternoon. Mealie has worked hard with Mally for games as she gets very excited but is now flying around on her own and able to hold her on the line. The kids absolutely love games and it’s great to build their confidence, coordination and balance. You can practice over and over but still things go wrong and they have to adapt on their feet to correct and work together as a team.

Last Friday was the final day of Mini Camp and Amelia’s group theme was the Olympic rings. This Friday looking back at the amazing performance of Team GB Equestrians over the last few days!

The concentration face 😍

Thursday morning at Mini Camp. A great lesson of course riding for these two as they flew round. As I sat and watched reflecting how far they’ve come since camp last year which mainly involved walking around with the odd napping trot to the others. This year Mealie enjoyed being independent and Mally loved teaching and taking care of Mealie in everything they did 🥰

This little dream team smashed their first ODE solo!
32 in their dressage and double clear. We absolutely love the events that Fitzwilliam Pony Club run and this one definitely did not disappoint despite the thunder and lightening.

Proud of these two navigating around a very tricky course last night.
Reggie was her biggest cheerleader and Olivia has joined the coaching team.
We finished with celebratory crepes and Amelia nose diving into mud wearing her new white jodphurs 🙈. I think we should be looking for sponsorship from next!

These two had a great morning doing their favourite thing! Thank you for a fantastic lesson the girls had a great time. So much positivity and encouragement for them whilst coping with the mummies slight heart attacks when they moved onto the brush fence and more. Video update later when we’ve got them out the water jump!

Fantastic day at Whaddon Chase Triathalon with these girls.
Mealie smashed a pb in all 3 events and finished individual 4th. Bring on the next one for the East Herts Beanies who together finished 4th team.

These two had a great time after school and after jumping 50cm Mealie wanted to see if she could do it on foot! We are trying to work on the lines as we are more prepared for a jump off than a chilled round but I’m sure that will come. I am loving that after school we can get a ride in.

2 and half weeks until their first competition of the season. They’ve both worked so hard together and I’m looking forward to seeing them in the ring together.
