I got chemo on Valentines Day but one of my best buds sent this “chocolate dipped” strawberry toy home for me. I love my Valentines! (Also I’m doing really well - still in full remission!)

Hung out with mom for a few hours since I’ve been feeling good. Pretty much snacked my way through. I did support a teen through an entire therapy session though, so there were some decent snuggles in there as well.

Those of you who have met me know that I am a stubborn guy. In predicable form, I am here to tell you that I am not allowing cancer to get me down. I did so well in the hospital last week that they sent me home after just two nights...the nurses did say I was the cutest, but I'd still rather be with my family. I received my first dose of chemo, and mom will take me back to my medical team on Thursday for more updates, and hopefully more treatment. Aside from some odd effects from the steroid cocktail and my embarrassingly shaved front leg from the IV, you wouldn't know I was ill. That's just how I like it. Keep the good vibes, prayers, and energy coming. I think they're helping. Here's a note from one of my good buddies, who I know is very worried...I'll be back as soon as I can, friend!
