This little bear was found all alone at a brocante in Maussane les Alpilles. He looked so lonely, he just had to come and join the bears at The Teddy Bear Refuge! 😏 He has been named Stitch by my cousin's daughter, who we were visiting at the time, thank you very much, Emily! 😊

So lucky to find this little treasure at our local brocante this morning. Her arms and legs have seized up, so after a good clean, she will need a little operation to get them working again!

Custard is welcoming these two new additions to The Teddy Bear Refuge! They found their way here together. They both need a good clean, their paws mending and, strangely, they both need new right ears! Goodness knows how they both came to lose them! Quite a bit of work to do, but what beautiful little bears!

This is Ernest, he's about 60 to 80 years old and was found in a local market. So far, he's had a very gentle, much needed, clean. He's showing you his feet before and after feet cleaning! He's also had a minor operation to remove his growler which wasn't working. The next job is to see if we can mend it so he can growl again.....

Herbert, who is probably over 70 years old, was looking for a new home, so I couldn't resist! Fortunately, he was found in the city where one of my sons is studying, so he was able to bring him to The Teddy Bear Refuge when he visited.........unfortunately my son couldn't fit much else in his case! 😊

An operation is in progress today for Bertie....... his friends providing moral support! Bertie came to us with his head falling off and his arms attached by just threads. He's already had a gentle soap sud bath and is now having his limbs reattached so they all function again! 🤞
