TWO YEARS OF MURRAY!

Happy Birthday to our little buddy, mister man, noodle boy, we**ie head! Using photo of the day 5/31 to share Murray’s Halloween costume and celebrate all that he is!

This dog is nothing like we imagined and everything that we needed. He’s sensitive, yet go with the flow. A follower, but also bold. He loves his sister… and she really loves him back. He’s fit into our family seamlessly and I love my little shadow.

It’s October 1st and we’re EXCITED! Fall is in the air, the zoomies are getting muddier, and we’re so excited to embrace this next season!

We’re kicking off a “photo a day” challenge for ourselves this month. Post one picture every day, through October 31.

It only seemed fitting to start off with the dogs costumes this year. Wizard of Oz themed with a hint of accessories. We’ll also break out some costumes from past years!

We also have some surprises planned 👀

These dogs, I cannot.

We’re almost done traveling for a little bit and it’s been sooo nice getting back into a routine with these babies!

A few more fun weekends including a bachelorette party, weddings (in one, photographing two), half marathon, and perhaps a visit to Texas to meet my parent’s new pup! Really want to bring one of my two along, but unfortunately not sure we can swing that on a flight.

Once November hits, I’m going into hibernation mode for a little bit. Kind of looking forward to sweater weather and football weekends!

Millie and Murray here…

Did you hear that mom blindsided us on Thursday? She came home from work and we thought we’d have a lovely evening together, but instead we had to go to the groomer.

We’re floof-less, but sooo much more clean and comfortable.

Mom and Dad are leaving us again, but this time we’ll forgive them because they get to see our friends at their wedding today 👀

Our perfect summer weekend in Portland, Maine. Scroll & save for your next long weekend!

So many recommendations from all of you made this trip even more special. We stayed in a dog friendly Airbnb, which was great if we wanted to go out at night, but overall the town was so dog friendly, we could take them just about anywhere.

Friday:
- by the water when you arrive
- Wander Old Port
- for dinner - you NEED to try the clover roll
- for cocktails - the bartenders were so knowledgeable and willing to make just about anything
- Find somewhere with live music or bar hop

Saturday
- Breakfast at in the West End
- Spend the morning exploring and get something from the food trucks (highly recommend )
- Spend more time in Old Port exploring all of the little stores and boutiques
- Lobster roll from
- Sit outside somewhere and people watch
- for dinner
- Gelato from - this is cool because you can fill a many size with as many flavors as you want
- Bounce around Old Port (or stop by the breweries in town - although that’s a better day activity since most close around 10)

Sunday
- Pick up breakfast from - I got the loaded biscuit and fresh OJ and I’ve been thinking about it since
- Take the ferry to Peaks Island (pack a picnic!)
- Rent bikes from and ride the loop (4 miles)… we did it twice (Andy ran one of them)
- Have a makeshift picnic on one of the little beaches
- Go to Portland Head Light and see the lighthouse
- for dinner (we picked up to go since it was packed)

If we had one more day we would have done more breweries and a hike somewhere!

10/10 would recommend - this was such an adorable, charming town with so much character. We’ll be back!

This is your sign to take your pups on vacation with you.

Yesterday kicked off 10 days of vacation and we couldn’t be more excited. This summer got BUSY and I’m so grateful we planned to take some time off before a crazy fall.

You all showed UP with Portland, Maine recommendations and were absolutely loving it here. Incredible food, adorable streets, and good vibes.

The pups are pooped but so so happy!

I have like 6 favorite parts to this reel: 1. Millie head tilting at it 2. Millie saying “heck no” 3. Murray very unsure 4. Millie jealous Murray is paying attention to the splash pad and not her 5: Murray “swimming” Doing everything we can to beat this heat wave and @amazon Prime Day came just in time. Guess what we’re working on this weekend? Murray gets to learn that mommy comes back and maybe we don’t need to wake up from our nap to follow her every. single. move. Not sure that’s going to fly for him, but we’ll see… Who else has a Velcro dog?

Okay I’m convinced that these behind the scenes videos are better than what would have been the actual content, so here is Volume II of Content Creation: Behind the Scenes. We’ve been feeding the dogs @openfarmpet the entire time we’ve had them, but just recently, after partnering, became obsessed with some of their lines of treats. Let’s be honest, they’re the talent, I’m just their assistant… who rolls around in grass to get their shot of the day. Yes I pretended to meow like a cat to get their attention. Yes our new grass already has potty stains. Yes I’m basically laying in them. Anything for M&M. Also I love summer and this yard SO MUCH.
