Unfortunately, due to the continuing rain and increasing wind, we have been forced to postpone our grand opening scheduled for today. 😥 We will reschedule our grand opening in the very near future and let you all know what date we choose. Remember that the park remains open and available for use daily from Dusk till Dawn.

Yesterday, Atlas made his first visit to the Dog Park. He reminds everyone to join us for the official grand opening on Sunday, September 24th, from 1pm to 3pm. Free giveaways for the first dogs and free hotdogs for everyone while they last.

Today was our Doggie Paddle event! Congratulations to all of our Winners! 1st place; Sarah Brown, 2nd place; Fred Lehman, 3rd place; Val Miceli, 4th place; Kelsey Vitullo, 5th place; Kade Ellinger. Special thanks to everyone who donated a basket and to the folks at the Dented Keg for hosting our event.

It's a beautiful day in Clearfield, and our Doggie Paddle event is now underway! Our basket raffle and 50/50 will be available until the end of the race. Doggie Paddle tickets are also available online until 4:30pm. https://lawrence-township.square.site/ Last minute tickets can also be purchased at the Dented Keg up until the time of the race at 5pm. Due to an overwhelming response, our Doggie Paddle tickets are now available to be purchased online. Please let us know if you experience any issues. It's time to reveal our plans... Join us Sunday August 6th for our very first Doggie Paddle. A Rubber Doggie Race down the Susquehanna River. 500 Rubber Doggies will race down the Susquehanna River. The First 5 will win CASH Prizes. 1st Place is $1,000! Event will be held at the Dented Keg starting at 3pm. Doggie Race will begin at 5pm from the Market Street Bridge. Join us for fun Basket Raffles, Live Music, and More. ONLY 500 Doggies will be Sold. So get yours before they're gone. Just a $10 Donation per doggie. If you need a ticket, message our page or contact one of our committee members. Remember all proceeds benefit the construction of the Lawrence Township Dog Park.

We appreciate everyones patience while we let our grass grow in the dog park. We expect to open the large dog area in a few weeks and the small dog area by early fall..

We would like to thank Bash Contracting and the Lawrence Township Supervisors. Phase 1 of the dog park construction was completed this fall. This section, which will be designated for larger dogs, is nearly one acre. In 2023 the front section for small dogs and entrance vestibule will be added. The Lawrence Township dog park is located at the Lawrence Township Recreational Park. If you would like to help with future dog park projects, please let us know. Volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Financial donations are also appreciated and can be sent care of Lawrence Township.
