REMINDER - our club's AGM is tomorrow night at 7pm at David Roche Park. We welcome you all to come along for the AGM and we would also love for you to become part of our committee for the coming year.

Without our members and our committee we wouldn't be able to keep our club going, please come along and support the club.

☕️☀️Morning everyone ☀️☕️

🐕🐾♥️Rescue announcement🐕🐾♥️

So many of you always ask how you can help. What you can do for our rescues that come in.

What many also don’t realise is the amount of rescues that come to us and that we help rehome because we have in-house waiting list and they don’t need to be put up on the page.

In Victoria alone this year we have so far rescued, re-homed 44 of our breed, I also haven’t had time to update the list lately (& then not to mention 3 more that have come in this week still to go) & we are still 6 weeks away from the new year!
(A few from other states but have come through the Vic branch)

I am only quoting the Vic as it’s me writing this post (unbeknownst to Ricki 😁she can kill me later lol) & I have them handy. I don’t even want to think about the number if we added the statts from the state coordinators in NSW, QLD & WA!

This also doesn’t include those we help Aus wide with training to keep them in their homes or fosters to help families in need, contacting people to help family’s with RR’s in need medically, fight for those we know are about to be homed in not appropriate homes, helping raise awareness to those byb’s that show no care, keeping in contact with those we have helped if we are needed 24/7. There is so much more to the rescue than most realise.

One thing we have is an awesome community that warms our hearts every day 💖

We are so lucky that our breed 🐕 impacts us so much with their love, loyalty, unique quirks 😉 and incredible nature that they garner such a dedicated loyal following.
We love them, that’s undeniable! 💓

How can you help? 🙏
Most of you know, our wonderful mentor, Ricki 💗 who has done this job, for many years on her own, who has been the champion caretaker, you could say “guardian of our breed” for over 20 years and has a passion for producing her rescue calendar each year!

Ricki spends hours gathering photos, designing, editing, getting it to print, haggling for the best price and then posting them and all to help raise money for us to be able to help as many as we can.

This money helps ALL states and we are so very grateful for her dedication. I can’t even imagine where our breed would be with out her 💞

How can you help?
It’s simple.

You can help by purchasing this year’s Calendar! 📆

Use it for yourself, use it as a gift, a stocking filler, give it away to a less fortunate Ridgeback enthusiast, a charity to use as a fundraiser, it doesn’t matter just purchase a calendar 🤷‍♀️🙏

In a perfect world I would like to see anyone who has any part in a ridgeback, from our wonderful Ridgeback parents, to breeders, clubs and RR enthusiasts purchase.

We are pleased to announce that the next Rhodesian Ridgeback World Congress will be held in the Czech Republic in the last week of May 2026.

Of the 67 individuals attending the webinar, the 48 who voted unanimously approved this bid for the 10th RRWC.
