This sweet boy is ready!!
Hes a black self with an adorable personality. Hes very adventurous and sometimes like to just chill and cuddle.

Baby update! This litter has reached 2 weeks old today!! Their little personalities are really starting to come out.

One sad thing is that these are ALL BUCKS!! Could you believe it? 🤣🤣 althought im sad there are no does, im still greatfull to have had this litter. I finally have some yellows. Although they are sooty.

This litter was in hopes to bring out abyssinian coats again. 2 were showing signs but it is not fully expressed yet. The only way you can currently tell is by the direction the belly hairs are going in (and its very slight). One of those bucks (1 black self, 1black tan) will be staying to be bred back. One of the yellows will be staying to help produce more yellows too.

I will have a LOAD of blue and black texels/rex that should be up for adoption in January. If you have eyes on those be on the look out! Ill be posting them Jan 3rd on the website and ill post a feature for some on here to let you know theyre ready. Theres may be some boys from this litter and an upcoming litter that may be available too. A reminder, these are first come first serve unless youre part of a waitlist.
If adopting. You will need to fill out a form with their ID on it, please add a few extras so if someone ahead of you picks it then you have a fall back.
Males must go solo.

Heres a litter update 😍
Born 10/30 (almost halloween!)

5 little cuties.
3 blues, 1 black and 1 black pied. All apear to be texels

The main goal was to bring more yellow back into my lines, as you can see that didnt work 🤣, but theres more litters coming up that could produce that. I will be temperament testing and i may keep one or two(not keeping any blue as blue is rapidly taking over!). The rest may be up for adoption.

The two older litters are doing great. Theyre all weaned and seperated. Their next update will probably be to show off the new breeder choices and the adoptables.

Baby season is starting this week!!

Im expecting 3-5 does to have a litter.

Im going to be especially excited for a few of these does as theyre either newer lines or i have combined some lines to create new ones. I will try to post lots of updates as the days go but i wont really be posting the litter updates until ~2 weeks old.
See you with some cute pups in 2-3 weeks!

ALSO, i have been wondering, would you guys like to see instagram or maybe facebook lives? i think it would be fun meeting with everyone. I can answer questions, show off my current mice while cleaning bins, feeding or whatever needs to be done(and yes, BABIES). Would have exclusive view into specific preggy does and possible babies outcomes, etc. I could also start making youtube videos showing these things off so you dont have to sit through a live with me rambling away 😂. Let me know!

First off. My 2 current litters are doing great, i have a bit of a mystery on my hands and it has gotten even weirder. I have 3 pups that im having problems identifying and their parents are a bit of a mix up as well. Im excited to watch them mature more and test the lines.

My oldest litter got upgrated to an even bigger area and theyre all loving the space, i have 2 texels and 3 are looking to be rex. I will be pulling the bucks soon and will see if one will pass as a new breeding buck.
With this litter, i have officially sarted a couple rex & texel exclusive lines. 1 im working towards creating a rex only line and the other more towards texel with good coat quality.
I have mixed some oregon texels into one of the two and so far its iffy. Im hoping my tippy lines can swoop in and get the density in there that im looking for. If they are rex then they will usually have an excellent coat. But the texels are looking to be lacking some things. My tippy line texels are fabulous for not really trying, but they dont have any curl. Just gentle waves. We will see how it progresses but i may push my lines more to get a good balance.

With this first breeding season, im super excited for one doe in particular. I have specific goals that will combine 3 things. Ive always wanted to do this but with mice coming and going. It was really the last thing i thought id get to work towards.
This is in a hope to create something beautiful, but to also bring love and extra beauty to a variety that can get a lot of dislike. I wont be sharing it quite yet but i hope to see this happen in a couple seasons when i reach gen 2-3 of this goal. (And it wont stop improving from there) im debating on adding one more genetic but its still a maybe.

Unfortunately, the showtypes i have got between november 2023 and this spring are dying out fast. Im probably breeding (possibly my last chance) a pair ive planned in dec early. I dont expect to strictly follow the dates i plan to breed since things like this can happen, and quick. My show buck is the last that i have. I attempted to pair a show doe but she unexpectedly passed. This line is making me hold my breath at each step. I do have 1 outcross but im not yet comfortable with crossing that line with anything so im carefully choosing the next doe.

Finally back from vacation and have settled back at home. One of the only litters i allowed during my vacation has been doing very well! 2 suprise satins, and an unlucky amount of blues 😂 (was expecting mostly yellows and blacks)

Baby boom #1 is officially pending with 7 does and 6 bucks paired. Hoping all will take in a timely manner and have a healthy and successful season.

Lots of updates to come in about 3 or so weeks.

ITS SPOOKY SEASON 👻 🎃

Edit(since i completely forgot the other point of this post 🤣)

Breeding plans are set up. Expect a baby boom with lots of adoptables between october and next year. Its not going to be quiet forever and those who have filled out adoption forms. Dont worry! I expect to have available babies for all.

First up: October pairings!
Starting mid october i have planned out 5 for sure pairings. I most likely will stagger it by a week or two. 3 pairings for the first and then the last 2.

Next will be December. I predicted about 10 total pairings and will be pairing up a few each week in december. Yes its a lot but december will be the last chance for most of the does i have that need to be bred to continue some lines. There is a chance that i will be moving some up to october but we will see.

After these two busy months of babies, i hope to have my lines secured for another generation and can go back to 2-4 pairings at a time like i origonally have done.

Everything is already set up and ready to go for the next huge baby season! I post more updates on instagram but ill try my best to get instagram, facebook and my website.

Ill be finishing the website (hopefully this week) and then will be opening up to applications.

A little update. Last 2 pairings have been in the works for a few days now! We will hopefully have a new Tippy line litter and a tri/splash litter at the end of the month. 😍

Ive been wanting to do this for awhile and I noticed that my time may be up soon if i dont do it today.

This is Tippy. If you havnt heard her name yet then consider yourself lucky 🤣

Tippy is a mid 2022 mouse that is recessive yellow, pied, rex

Tippy has been with me since 12/4/22. I got her when she was about 7 months old already so i only got 1 litter from her before she retired. She raised 6 amazing babies. 5 does and a buck. 3 yellow 3 black.

She is part of nearly all of my lines and by the end of next year, she will nost likely be in the rest. She produces babies with the thickest coats and carries many lovely varieties, her daughters are also one of the best mamas i have. Shes a founder for me. Meaning shes one of the first ever mice ive had and started breeding with. She has far outlived all the other origonal founders.

Tippy loves to run on her saucer and has been by far the most active mouse ive had. When she hears me coming, shes on the saucer. Shes also the most friendliest towards other mice. Shes always grooming and cuddling whoever she is with.

Tippy has nannied many litters. Meaning she is the first mouse new babies get to meet after weaning, she helped the young mice learn to be a mouse after leaving their mama and help prevent FTT in weanlings. She retired from being a nany long ago and has spent her time doing normal mouse things and being completely spoiled.

Tippy is over 2 years old now, and shes slowing down. Last night i noticed that she would get on her saucer, but not run and get off. Shes also spending more time snoozing in her hides or nest. Shes definitely looking her age too so im thinking she will pass on soon. But before she does, i will be celebrating her life with her. She will have the yummiest snacks and whatever else she wants. This is probably her last photoshoot as well as she was a little stressed about it.

I simply cannot belive how fast time has gone. All litters have been or are currently being weaned and set up in their own areas. Temperament testing is begining for the next stage, the stage where they could become next gen breeders or potential pets come september.
So far, im loving some of these new lines and am very grateful to have them here.

Line updates:
-Blues-
So far i have established a great foundation for blues again. My previous line wouldnt produce and honestly, they had an ugly body type. They were fully retired when i secured a litter of 6, (4 blues and 2 silvers) i have a gorgeous angora blue buck that popped out of the amazing buck that drops so many genes into each baby and him + a new blue doe made the perfect babies. Temperament is in the works for them, they dont seem to want to be touched at this age so ill watch for maturity temp.

Xblack/highpigment
So far ive gotten 1 cute little buck that has amazing color pigment. His siblings arent too far off either. His mama was crossed to a siamese show type buck to try and improve the show line on many things. So far things are looking great and temperament is seeming good as well. They are too sweet and calm when held!

-Show line-
As above, ive paired with a new line to help improve the show quality and soon ill be pairing to my Tippy line, which has amazing mamas, milk and decent temperament. Plus the varieties that line carry are amazing and i would love to have some show type build in each.

Lastly -Hairless-
So fair the hairless line has been interesting. Ive had the nexpected rex and texels my new buck produced. I will need to experiment more on that. Temperaments have settled down and theyre all seeming to be more sweeter by the day, they are insanely active too!! Great for a pet type as they will be very entertaining to watch. I may have some available for september so keep an eye out.

I will be reopening begining of september!
Everything has started to settle down now and i feel like everything is back to normal.
I should have young adults and possibly some retired breeders that will be available when i open. I plan to have no new litters or litters still with mom during the end of september as i will be gone for about a week. So the next big baby season will begin mid october.

Heres how my plans have been going if interested:

Obviously, my top 2 priorities for breeding will forever be health and temperament. I will choose those over pretty mice, always.

This year has been a wild ride but so far ive been aligning specific lines. I want my color variety, coat type etc to be settled as i begin to pick the best of bests for temperament and health. This is so i domt have any varieties possibly die out when only choosing for temperament. It makes the chance of those varieties much higher in each litter. Ill be keeping the absolute best and then any pet quality mice will be reserved for adopters (they will be held until the reopening)

Im monitoring my new show lines as weve noticed a few major issues. Im hoping withing a couple generations that i can reduce the problems.
Ive so far had one litter with a new girl that comes from the best line from brookie cookie creatures and the next litter my show buck will sire is with my current best. From the Ms.Tippy line (shes still kicking it at over 2 years old with many grand babies who are now breeders)

My abyssinian line is struggling still but i have a lovely little doe and buck aby carriers growing like weeds. Mama is from the Tippy line as well.(i lost the one aby litter as the mama didnt want to care for them or had the milk after a week or so)

Everyone else is settled and im ready to be very picky about the next gen breeders. I have a couple newish lines that ive started for specific colors and theyre looking amazing. Just hoping temperament checks out with them. I have a few variety goals as well that i hope to achieve in the next year.
