I had the privilege to mount this guy twice! The owner wasn’t sure he wanted a shoulder mount when he first harvested this deer, thus he didn’t save the cape…after completing the European Mount for him I told him that if he changed his mind, I would probably have a cape later in the season and to check back….well…it all worked out…what a stud!

“The Warrior” went home today! This guy was and absolute beast…huge neck, massive heavy horned antlers and battle wounds...

“The Warrior” went home today! This guy was and absolute beast…huge neck, massive heavy horned antlers and battle wounds everywhere. When harvested he even had his left eye poked out (assuming from an antler during a fight). The owner wanted the eye restored to normal, but gave me the option to be creative with the scars…it was an honor to bring this guy back to life!


Last couple roughed in for the year! Paint and go home next week!!! The “Hooking Aggressive” pose is pretty sweet!
