A Home-Styled Approach to Dog Training.
Who are you?
Christine Seyler - C.D.T.K. - C.T.D.I. (in training) - I.A.A.B.C. Member - A.P.D.T. Member - Always continuing education. I am a Positive Reinforcement Trainer focused on using Games to create life-long behaviors. I believe in treating the Mind, Body, and Soul through enrichment and nutrition. Our family moved to Lancaster city in 2018. After years of working management positions in the corporate world, I was always trying to break into a career that I wanted to be passionate about. One day while working on some basic dog training exercises with our boys, I realized my passion and career were right there under my nose. During the last three years, I have been running a doggy daycare, studying, and training my way to become a Professional Dog Trainer! My ultimate goal is to work with our local youth and help educate kids on how to work with dogs.
What do you mean by a Home- Styled approach?
Oddly enough dogs are just like kids. No, they can’t pick up objects or play verbal ping pong but, they do need emotional support, nutrition, exercise, and mental stimulation. Many training facilities are blank open warehouses, cold to the touch. I believe that in order to learn, a dog needs to feel at home. They need to be comfortable, secure, and safe; just like our kids.
