Cats and Tatami is a small organization helps abandoned cats to see bright futures. Based in Tokyo, Japan we are currently taking care of more than 30 cats.

It has been a very rough days these days. We are feeling devastated. Since 2017, we have been proudly taking care of abandoned cats. But the current world situation is making everything hard for us even though we are doing our best. It is almost impossible to continue the treatments for Momo and Bell, the ones fighting with FIP, due to the rising expenses for everything. Especially because everything we do regarding this we pay out of our pockets. Even though this is a hard situation, giving up on it is not in our options. We really need your help. Anything will help. Please help Momo and Bell to complete the treatments and see their bright future. The donation box is in Bio. We appreciate your generous and warm heart♥️

Bell fighting with FIP🔥🔥
Hi Bell is here! I am also going through the FIP treatment right now. I was diagnosed FIP (wet type) after Momo.
I have been sleeping a lot! It is because my body is working so hard to beat this disease, right?

Momo & Bell’s Fighting FIP Journey #001
Hi everyone! This is Momo. I am going though the FIP treatment right now. I wanted to share my experience with you guys. Mom was keeping a diary.
One day, I started feeling dizzy and mom got worried. She took me to a hospital so they could take a closer look at what was going on.
They took some blood from me for the blood test. They said my kidney shape was not normal, and my anemia was so bad that I would lose my life if I don’t get a blood transfusion.
I got the transfusion done immediately. My dizziness got better, but I had to stay in a hospital. I missed mom so much. The doctor said it would take a couple days to get the test result. So mom went home.
While we wait for the test result, I got to go home. But I couldn’t even drink water by myself. I couldn’t eat either. I lost tons of weight. And we got a call from the hospital – they said I have FIP. Mom looked so sad and worried. And from here, my FIP treatment has started.

Hi friends! This is Cats and Tatami.
Today, I wanted to introduce Momo and Bell😊
Currently they are under the treatment of FIP.
It broke my heart when I saw them suffering and kept losing weight.
Even though the medical bill would very very expensive, I chose to treat them.
Because.. no cats shouldn't suffer.
I will start posting the diary of the treatment here so I would really appreciate it if you could give them encouragements. Thanks!

【Am I the only one who thinks Japanese buildings & cats match so well?😁】
When I go for a quick walk outside, I see cats getting comfy under the sun sometimes and every single time without missing, I cannot resist staring at them smiling..💕 Because it is so nice to see comfy cats in front of Japanese style houses like this.
(Even though they would be like "Who the heck is this lady..?"🤣)
