GETTING READY FOR SHOWS, FAIRS, AND CAMPING SEASON?..
If you are planning to travel with your equine companion do you know the best resource to determine whether your trip could be interrupted by an outbreak of an infectious disease?
The Equine Disease Communication Center (EDCC) is a non-profit organization that has been coordinating and disseminating information on infectious diseases nationwide for 9 years. "The Equine Disease Communication Center (EDCC) is an industry-driven service that works to protect horses and the horse industry from the threat of infectious disease in North America. Our communication system is designed to seek and report real-time information about diseases and help prevent the spread of infectious disease" (https://equinediseasecc.org/about-us).
Sign up for the EDCC Emergency Alert System - have the notifications come straight to your phone and email @ https://www.equinediseasecc.org/alerts Scroll down to the bottom and on the right-hand side of the page is a signup prompt.
