🐾Why is relaxation so important?

🐾If your dog's body is in "fight or flight" mode, it is tense and ready for action. This is good in some circumstances, but when it becomes the norm, it results in stress and anxiety, potentially contributing to illness.

🐾The opposite is the "rest and relax" mode, which gives the body time to rest and focus on internal functions and healing. A key benefit of massage is to encourage this relaxation mode, reduce stress, and help your pet feel their best!

🐾 If your dog has arthritis, have you considered massage as part of the management plan?

- arthritis is a progressive disease so overtime your management plan will need to change. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that a treatment isn't working so you stop it - in fact your dog is more likely to need their current treatment plus something else!
