Thanks .cox and Holly @ All Around Equine for the great Dog & Horse Adventure Workshop! The weather was beautiful and adolescent Salty acted less like a teenage dirt bag and more like a dog starting to have some sense! I can’t wait to feel more comfortable having my dogs on the trail with equestrians. I don’t encounter them enough to practice and it’s long been a source of anxiety for me!

Sheppy people. Sweet Lydia needs a soft place to land!

Update: Lydia was ADOPTED!!! ❤🐶🏡

Lydia (A164322) is a 4-year-old SPAYED female. Her previous adopter returned her to TAW because she had an accident on the carpet and was reluctant to go up and down the stairs. She is a friendly and affectionate girl who needs someone to spend time with. Lydia has been at TAW since May 26, 2024.

🍑🍎🍌 even items that would be considered compostable such as a peach pit, banana peel, apple core, etc are still trash and need to be packed out!

In addition to your normal oral Flea & Tick prevention (a must when you live in the forests of the southern US) you may want to add something like to your daily routine for your dogs! I’m trying the yard spray for the first time, so I’ll report back, but the pet & home spray is an amazing addition to your adventuring needs! Sniffy walks, hiking, tracking, trail running, etc.

Tracking flags arrived! They are even better in person! Finn approves! So far it has been so much fun teaching casual tracking skills for companion dogs and their people!
