The proof is in the pudding.

As some of you will know a few days ago we had someone looking round our property armed with a gun. Despite my best efforts of trying to find him and driving round looking for him on the night we couldn’t find him.

Onto today and I took Zola out for a walk she was noseying about in some grass while I was scrolling through my phone and I thought she just needed to go to the toilet next minute she lies down I didn’t really think much of it until I got there and saw her indicating on the gun.

No search command completely relaxed.

The gun has now been handed to the police and will go for forensics 🤞🏼🤞🏼.

This dog has no breeding she came too us when her previous owner was struggling with her and realised she needed the work. The police turned her down as they couldn’t get near her and nor could I to start with, I decided to keep her and so glad I did. To top it off she indicated perfectly not touching the gun so all possible evidence has been preserved.

She isn’t trained intensively anymore just do enough with her to keep her entertained but it shows that it’s been implemented well 😍

A couple of firsts for Inka last night, with first time on the hard sleeve and first time sending her.

Need to give myself a kick up the arse spend more time training other peoples dogs than my own. Time to get the graft into her now.

You know you enjoy your job when you look forward to going out when it’s pi***ng it down to train the dogs you have in. By no means perfect but as a green dog a week ago she’s coming on well.

It’s always great too watch young dogs that you’ve bred develop. Charlie was one of the pups from this years breeding program we’re starting to get a lovely solid indication from him now 😌
