Good evening Fowl Weather Friends!! I have been super busy here in the shop. I am working to get the freezer emptied to start all over again in a few months. The four pictures I posted are birds that recently went home. Duck season will be here sooner than you think. I hope we have more water than we did last year. So far it looks promising! I have plenty of room for your birds or fish if you still have them in your freezer. Give me a call and set up a time to bring them in. Hope to see you soon!!

Hello, Fowl Weather Friends! Things are moving in the shop. Birds and fish are going home. I do wish the weather would stabilize a little so I can catch a few fish or pick some mushrooms. Hey, Fowl Weather Friends! When it's cold outside, it's warm in the shop! As birds come in, others are going home. If you have some in the freezer, now is the time to bring them in. Good morning! I want to take a minute a day early to wish each one of you a Happy Thanksgiving! I'm not sure where the time went this year. It seem like just a few short months ago we were celebrating the New Year! Although much of this year is gone, if we take a little time, we can find many good things about the year. What are we truly thankful for? For me it's relatively easy. First and foremost, God tops my list. With Him we have life. Without Him nothing is possible. When everything else fails, He is still there. We can only dream of what He has done for us. Next is family and friends. What would we do without family? They are there when we need them and will stick by us no matter what is thrown our way. Rounding out my top three are my Fowl Weather Friends! I appreciate you trusting me as your taxidermist. I enjoy the times we sit at the table and talk about your hunting adventures. I don't get to hunt as much as I would like, but as you tell about your hunts, it's like I am there and can relive those memories with you! I look forward to hearing more from you. These are the three things I am most thankful for this year. Again I want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! Hope to see you all soon!

As more leave the shop, others are coming in, both fish and birds. If you have one you've been holding off on bringing in, remember duck season is just a few months away. Good afternoon Fowl Weather Friends! I have a quick announcement! I've had many of you ask if I take credit cards. I recently received my card reader and I can now take them. I do have to charge a little extra to help cover the fees, but it's not much.
Duck season is off to a great start. I've had several nice birds come in. I'm excited to see what you bring to the shop. I will have plenty of room for your birds. However, the sooner you bring them in, the sooner you take them home.

Good morning Fowl Weather Friends! I have a quick announcement. As you are very much aware, the economy has hit us pretty hard. I had to make a few adjustments to the pricing chart to help offset the cost of materials and shipping. Nothing too drastic. Visit my website fowlweathertaxidermy.com and check out the adjustments of ducks, large geese and fish. These prices go into effect October 1st, 2022. The good news is snows, blues and specks will remain the same as last year. I am excited about the upcoming waterfowl season. As I wait, I keep things going from last year. Yesterday I received a panel from a woodworker that has been several months in the making. Once I get the ducks on it I will post a picture. Good evening my Fowl Weather Friends! What a year this has been. The word of the year has been backorders, especially for eyes. However, they can only keep us down for so long. There is always a way to get things done if you look hard enough. So hopefully I won't have to deal with that anymore. With that said, things are in full swing here at the shop. I have had some challenging mounts come in. I will be be revealing some of them in the very near future. Just a few short months and duck season will be on us. If you are holding on to a duck or goose in your freezer, now is the time to bring them in. The sooner you bring them in, the sooner you can put them on your wall. A big shout out to my Fowl Weather friends! I have some exciting news for everyone. As most of you know, I am a painting contrator as well as your taxidermist. Juggling both is a hassle. It pulls me in several directions and I struggle seeing progress. I have made the decision to make taxidermy my #1 priority. A big thank you to each and every one of you for making this possible! I am still having some issues with suppliers getting supplies to me. Bird eyes tend to backorder, so I am getting them as I can. Hang with me as I set my focus on getting your mounts to you. Time spent in the shop means work is getting done. When the work is getting done, that means mounts are going home. Like this hooded merganser hen on driftwood. I'm still taking in birds and fish. It's about time for fish to start coming in. I took in a 27" walleye a few weeks ago. Looking forward to mounting that one.
