As I wrap up 2023, before I take maternity leave, I wanted to reflect on this first year of business and take a moment to highlight all of the amazing horses I got the opportunity to work with. I am truly grateful for all of the people who supported me every step of the way and trusted me with their horses. Thank you for supporting Turquoise Spur Equine! Here is to all that 2024 will bring!

One of the most common places horses will hold tension is in the poll. Soreness and tightness in the poll can affect so many different aspects of their performance. It is one of my favorite places to focus on because of all of the other areas it affects.
This is Captain. Captain holds a lot of tension through his poll and neck. Here, he shows some big releases during lateral cervical flexion. This technique focuses on the cervical vertebrae by asking for a gentle bending and relaxing of the neck. Follow us to learn more!
