Congratulations to Lara and Joby winning the Veterans Class at STARS Aintree this week. Joby is a regular client. I clipped him 2 weeks ago in preparation for the Championships.

Obi Clipped Bathed and Plaited with thread. Stud holes cleaned and plugged with cotton wool. Eventing ready.

Had a busy weekend Clipping these pair of lovely young horses. Both 5yr olds. So I used my Lister Liberty Battery clippers as they are low vibration and not so noisy. They were both unfazed and behaved perfectly . boys

Made a start on these three Hunter's Tails today. Lightly pulled and shaped them with out making them too sore. Will give them another tidy up and bang the bottom off in a couple of weeks time.

Blue is a lovely little Traditional Cob. His Mane has grown very wild long and thick. So I gave him a good tidy up. Thinning and shorten his Mane but still keeping the natural look. Which will still give him protection from the sun and the flies.

Teddy is a Traditional Hairy Cob. Over the wet winter his feathers had become matted and difficult to keep clean and under control. So to make it easier and more comfortable for him we clipped them off . I gave him a complete make over Pulling his Mane and trimming a couple of inches off the bottom of his Tail.

Just clipped Princess . She had a full winter coat. Starting to shed her coat and getting hot and itchy So to make it more comfortable for her and easier to manage . I clipped her out ready for the spring and warmer weather.

It was nice to see Shep today. I gave him a Belly and Neck Clip just to keep him cool clean and dry as he is in light hacking work. He is a retired Fernie Hunt Horse who I used to look after at the Kennels. He has found his Happy home. 😊

It's been a long manic week Clipping! But it's that time of the year. Coats are growing thick and fast. Just a 😊Polite Notice. 😊 I pride myself on doing a very Professional job. In order for me to be able to do this. I need the Horse or Pony especially the Hairy Cobs to be Very Clean and Dry. For my Clippers to be able to operate and the Blades to be able to cut through the hair smoothly without clogging or snagging on a dirty coat which blunts the blades and causes discomfort to the Horse and takes me twice as long as it should do. So I ask that Horse is free of Grease Mud Sweat and Stable stains. Ideally washed with Shampoo before. All my Blades and Clippers have just been serviced and sharpened. Ready to go again. Many thanks. Sarah. 😊👍

Intro C Dressage

Second time out for young Annie tonight. After a wobbly start up the centre line and me forgetting my right from left. We relaxed into a nice test and a perfect square halt to finish. Very pleased. Making progress.
