Sorry for our absence on Facebook lately, it's been a wild month!

I'm not sure that I ever introduced our newest Kune Kune boys, but here is one!
We are hoping for Kune Kune babies next year. 😍

Our pig herd consists now of: Reba, Cheyenne, Brock, Van, and Barbra Jean.

We have two elder pigs also, Olivia and Miss Piggy. 🤪

We met some of THE sweetest and most well mannered children today at Macon Elementary ❤️ *we took our new baby cow out for his first appearance and he did amazing with the kiddos 🤗

It’s getting warm and sunny outside !!! We are ready to bring our mobile petting zoo TO YOU!!!! We would LOVE to get some nursing homes/ assisted living facilities, daycares, private events, etc on our schedule during the week Days!!! Just pick your day/time, pay your deposit to hold your date, and we do the rest!! ( including clean up afterwards) we do Indoor petting zoos as well. This includes our small furry friends on a smaller scale. 3 years ago we were getting ready to bring our first two registered lamanchas home! We made the hard decision to move Justice on to a new farm since we now have kept several does out of him but a friend bought him and we still get to go visit him 🥰

Hoof trimming and famacha checks for the herd today. I have some extra help today so we got a lot accomplished. Lucas (the calf) even got walked out and loaded up in the trailer with minimal issues. 🙌 Hoping he's ready for the next petting zoo. ❤❤

Fun fact about Ararat Acres, we didn't start out as a petting zoo, our original goal was to have a homestead!

However, nothing is free and feed is expensive, so the idea came up to buy a trailer and do petting zoos to cover the cost of feed and medications for the animals and we did just that! The rest is history. 🥰

We are so thankful for the support we have received and the amazing people we have met along the way. You guys helped make our dreams a reality!
