At last women in the UK will be able to have their own Testosterone cream! Yay! We won’t have to guess our dosage any more, a pea sized blob, as Androfeme measures each dose correctly. I am off to see my pharmacist tomorrow to let him know and to ask him to order it in for me so that when I place my next prescription order I will be able to have it. I hope it all goes smoothly. Here’s my breakfast. I’m really boring in that I have the same thing every day - but I’m happy with that. I make them up every Saturday morning in glass dishes for the whole week - as I’m a busy Dog Pro and need to just go the fridge and grab! Here’s what’s in it. Soaked organic oats (soaked in water), a desert spoon of flaxseed, a teaspoon of sunflower seeds, a teaspoon if pumpkin seeds, a handful of mixed nuts, a handful of blueberries, 2 desert spoons of kefir yoghurt and a sprinkling of sweet cinnamon powder. I eat this around 7.30 am and my next meal is around 1.30 pm. It works for me! 😁🐶🐾🐾🐾🐾. What do you have for breakfast??

Here's a video I have done for you about sleep (part 1). I know that a lot of menopausal Dog Pros suffer from lack of sleep. It's awful when you haven't had enough sleep and recharge time and then have to work with dogs and sometimes anxious owners the next day. The more sleep we have, the more able we are to cope with what life throws at us!

Some tips on nutrition for you, as promised. I do supplement my protein intake with a protein powder shake once a day. Working with dogs is usually a very active job, especially for those that walk dogs. Coupled with weight training and your menopause, it’s essential that you get enough protein in your diet to help build and maintain muscle. 💪💪💪

Today I reached 6050 minutes of mediation - according to the app I use. I do much more than that though. At the beginning of my twice weekly yoga class we do breath work and meditation. It’s one of those things that’s easy to do but so difficult to start and to make a habit. Once you do, and you start to see and feel the benefits, you will only wish you had started earlier. Give it a go!

It's so so important for us Dog Pros to keep fit and healthy as we age so that, if we need or want to, we can continue to do the work we love for as long as we want. I have been lifting weights for a while now but feel that I need professional help to make sure that I am lifting correctly and to monitor and motivate me to build muscle and strength so I have booked in with a PT to help me.
