Special Xander weather alert !
The temperatures this week are going to be very hot. I'm looking at humidex numbers in the high 30's . This will last most of the week with rain possible around Thursday.
Make sure you drink lots of water, try to work in the shade if you have to be out, wear sunscreen and take frequent breaks.
Also, if you are walking you dog please do so early in the morning or after the sun has gone down. We get very hot fast too and pavement burns our feet . Leave us home if you are going to the store. Better safe than sorry !
Make sure to take care of yourself this week, be careful out there folks. And remember

Hello, everyone! Xander here !!
I'm keeping an eye on a warm front that will be moving across Nova Scotia this week. Be prepared for high humidex levels, especially on Monday and Tuesday. Remember to stay hydrated, avoid direct sunlight, wear sunscreen, and take breaks often.
I am sorry I have been a bit quiet but I've been assisting with some important projects. 😉

Special Xander Statement!
We are in for a mess!
This will be a mixed bag of snow, ice, rain and high winds.
Areas in NB and CB will get more snow than us here in NS. But dont let that fool you. This will cause messy roads, flooding in some areas and power outages.
Stay in if you can , Eat lots of goodies, cover up your wiener with a blanket and stay safe!

Temperatures.will be dropping fast this evening. There has been a lot of rain and this will cause very slippery conditions. Be safe if you need to go out. Walk ways and roads will be very slick . My friends in CB will be looking at some snow as well. We might see some but Im not expecting high amounts.

Special Xander Statement!
There will be buckets of rain coming our way in the early morning hours. Saturday we will have high winds , and rain coming down like crazy !
Im a bit concerned about travel for folks tomorrow. There will be pooling of water and some flooding . Try to stay home if you can.
The other concern is overnight and into Sunday the temperature is going to drop as low as I am to the ground 😁. There could be ice on the roads and in driveways .

This is a very powerful storm that is a hurricane right now.
Prepare for flooding, high winds that may cause damge, high tides and waves.
There is alot of water in the ground already and this on top of it could cause many problems. Power outages will happen! Charge your cell phones to get ready!
Stay inside if you can. Do not go out to look at storm damage until you know it has passed and is safe
I hope you have your storm chips and p*e pads ready! ♡

Now in effect!
Unfortunately there will be lots of rain heading our way.
By my research it looks to be starting over night. This will pour buckets of rain down on us.
Be very careful if you are out and about. We could see thunder storms during this time. By supper tomorrow it should be clearing out.
Stay safe as the ground is already very wet and some sides of the roads are still damaged or soft.
If you need to go potty .. I suggest p*e pads for the day.

Rain moving in again this evening to overnight. At this time Im expecting 20- 50 mm with thunderstorms thrown in the mix.
My parents basement has flooded twice and when they go clean it , it takes time away from me and my massage 🙄 so hopefully we will get lesser amounts.
Be safe if you have to be out tonight friends. We have had a hard time this last while here in Hants co. Stay safe. And remember Xander loves you

Xander update from his mom
He did well , he lost his 2 front teeth though! ( bottom) . The rest were good , just cleaned up.
Xander does have a heart murmur we need to watch. He was sick after surgery but had cerina and is doing ok right now..

Weather warning!!!
This evening snow will change to ice pellets and then freezing rain.
This will last overnight into tomorrow morning. Later in the day it will turn to rain.
Walk ways, roads and parking lots will be very slippery. Dont go out unless its an emergency!
Stay in , stay warm and dry.
Morning travel could be tricky before the change over. Cancel work and stay home with your dogs 😉

Sorry folks Im late tonight.
I've been having some trouble and was at the doctor today. Im home resting now but wanted to warn you all there is a major storm coming. Snow fall will begin in the afternoon and continue until Friday. Friday afternoon everything should be pretty clear. Make sure you change your plans and drive with extra caution. Hate to have to tell you all this close to Valentines day.. but there is snow on the way.
The morning drive could be pretty messy with some amounts coming in at 15- 20 cms. Some areas will get much lower amounts however prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Extreme Cold warning!
Snow squall warning!
Temps are nice right now but dropping fast later. There a chance of snow in there . From a few centimeters up to 10- 20 in some areas.
In these temperatures frost bite can happen in minutes. If you have pets outside please please bring them in. If you say you cant for some reason stay outside with them and then decide .
Keep your tongue in your mouth if you go out.... do not lick anything 😀.
Cover you wiener and stay in.

**Little sister photo bombing 💣 my weather report warning!
I need you all to take care first thing tomorrow morning and all day.
Tonight late, we will have some flurries. It will then change over to darn rain!
It could be messy on the roads during this change over. Temperatures will be raising in the late morning. We will see high winds and buckets of rain tomorrow.
Prepare for flooding and maybe power outages with these winds.
As always your number one defense in these situations is ...P*e Pads!

We haven't really seen much snow yet but get your hats ready!!!
There is a front moving in which will dump 10 - 30 cms of the white stuff on us.
I expect this to start in the early morning hours .
