MY BELOVED COCO HAS PASSED😢💔

Just got this note from her friend, Tracy:

“Hi Harry...I'm so sorry you are going through this difficult time. You are an amazing dog and so loved by so many but especially your dad. I have some difficult news to deliver to you but I feel you need to know. Your girlfriend Coco has passed the rainbow bridge. We were informed of her passing on February 19th. She was unfortunately diagnosed with metastatic. cancer. Coco loved Harry and Harry loved his Coco. Thinking of you and praying you are not in any pain. Lots of love to you sweet Harry.”🙏❤️

I’m so sad. But, I’m happy I’ll see her again soon, over the Rainbow Bridge.

MY LIFE WAS ALTERED 13 YEARS AGO

Thirteen years ago today, my life changed for the better. A scrawny rescue dog named Harry stepped off a truck in a Walmart parking lot in RI, and forever altered the direction of my life.

He had been abused and literally starved, weighing in at 36 pounds, and nearly two years old. He suffered the ill effects of his Tennessee life for years, including his surgery five years ago for a total knee replacement. He sometimes hears or sees things that trigger a reaction. Loud noises, fireworks, motorcycles, bikes, and black trucks, set him off.

He’s now a 70 pound baby, and is a big black furry bundle of love. What he has given our family is immeasurable. On my saddest days, he can lift me up.

Of course, he has inspired love all across the country! His page, Harry Snyder, has nearly 26,000 ardent fans! When he had his surgery, he received over 500 cards and gifts, from 48 states! It warms my heart to see how he has helped so many people across America.

I love him so much. He’s nearing 15 years old. He still plays peanut and squeaky toy with me, like a puppy. He’s greying, just like his dad. I would be lost without him. Unfortunately, he has a cancerous tumor on the roof of his mouth, and probably only has days left. My heart is breaking, and the tears won’t stop.

Happy Adoption Day, Harry. I love you with all of my heart. It will be so difficult to say goodbye. 💔

The photo is meeting him for the first time, off the truck, in a Walmart parking lot in RI. Pam is holding his paperwork. He kisses me that first time we met. And his paw was on Pam’s shoulder the whole ride home.

I love you baby boy. There will be an empty space in my heart shortly. Cancer sucks and it’s so hard to say goodbye to a best friend.

I’m still here, despite terminal cancer. Mom and dad are taking good care of me, and loading me up with treats and love.

I particularly love laying out on the linai.

From Mark: Harry has large melanomas on the roof of his mouth, the size of golf balls, which will hinder his breathing and eating in the near future. At his age, there’s nothing we can do without causing him horrible pain.

I’m crying 24/7, but will cherish each moment we have together.

I haven’t been feeling great, but your prayers and well wishes have lifted my spirits. I see the doctor Monday. 🙏❤️

Harry is hanging in there. Had a nice reunion after five weeks away from him. I had never been separated from him for more than a week. It was excruciating. Especially knowing he had a tumor that he coughed up blood inside his mouth.

We’ll see the vet on Monday. Prayers always welcome. 🙏❤️

Prayers Wanted. 🙏🙏🙏

Looks like Harry has a large tumor in his mouth. He’s been coughing up blood. Not much we can do. He’s eating. He’s not in pain.

I miss him so much. I’ve been up north with my mom. Flying back down this week.

I’m devastated. I just want to see him again, hold him, kiss him and tell him how much I love him.
