Sir Render is not only extremely Handsome but he is a high quality young horse with three lovely gaits. Still green but progressing quickly, he shows the trainability to take his rider to the highest level of sport! This week Sir Render scored over 70% at his first recognized show.
Sir Render comes from a long line of successful horses. His half-sister, (Vianne) from the same dam, was top ten in the World Breeding Championships at Ermelo in 2023 with NorCordia’s rider Hope Beerling. We will see her in Paris Paralympic’s with her new rider, Kate Shoemaker next week.

Meet Melissa Gelatt.
Melissa practiced as a lawyer for twelve years. After marrying Philip she retired from the practice of law and instead focused on raising their blended family with five kids. After the kids left the nest, Melissa started adding animals, mostly horses! She had ridden hunters and Western growing up, but the closest barn to her house was a dressage barn. So after a thirty-year hiatus, she started riding again. This time dressage.
Melissa rode with different trainers over the years, bought her own farm in Wisconsin, and then Ludlum Farm in Palm City, Florida when her husband retired. It was at that farm when She first connected with Catherine. Melissa had watched Catherine compete at the World Cup in Las Vegas in 2009 and was super excited to be able to have her at Ludlum Farm.
“I have today been a happy client for almost seven years. At 70 years old, my goal is to keep riding as long as possible! know I can keep learning and developing my skill level with Catherine’s excellent teaching. Really the best I’ve ever experienced.” said Melissa

Meet Mariye Inouye, an enthusiastic equestrian who embarked on her journey at the age of four, riding ponies in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Every Thursday evening after dinner, her father drove her two hours from home for lessons. Since then, she has ventured on numerous equestrian adventures around the world, including Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, and Kenya.
