🌟 Race 6 - 4:17pm Tartan Raider (Sarah O’Reilly) gets back to his favoured standing start today & drawn well in 4 so hopefully he can make good use of that to get handy early, work at home as been ok, his last work was really good. Top 3 chance again

📍 Arnies Army heads to Gore tomorrow for its re-opening & his first look at the course

⭐️ Race 10 (6:35pm) Arnies Army (Blair Orange) Are on the quick back up which isn’t normally his forte but there wasn’t a lot else coming up for him, gets into a workable race, if he can go as good as his last start he’s a top 4 chance again. Bit bittersweet as this looks like it could be his last start on NZ soil before heading to Aussie so hoping he can go out on a high, which he would thoroughly deserve. Go well buddy 🤞🏼

🥉 Arnies Amry went a bottler today racing some very smart ones attacking the line strong for third just missing second, couldn’t be happier with him.

🌟 Race 8 (3:15pm) Arnies Army (Blair Orange) resumes after having a quiet past 6 weeks, strong field so will require some luck and things to go his way, but if he’s hitting the strong I’ll be happy

🌟 Race 9 (3:50pm) Tartan Raider (Sarah O’Reilly) Loving life & loving racing, niggly draw in one the second line but might work out well, nothing in here to be scared of, will go another good race again

🏁 Andy headlines the team tomorrow at Invercargill

🌟 Race 4 (2:58pm) Tartan Raider & the boss take on a small but handy wee junior drivers field, he will relish being back to the standing start as well as the longer 2700m trip, work at home is great only concern is the few weeks between races which he normally thrives off and the fact the driver might be a bit rusty! Unfortunately we don’t have our regular Jnr on in Sarah as Addington is the same day. He’ll give his all & he sure loves a dog fight.

🥈Another game second from wee Tartan Raider today, after having a fairly torrid trip he done well to come back at the finish to go down narrowly for his 3rd second in a row!

Arnies Army walked across the line, something not right with him, will do bloods & might give him a freshen.

📍 We’re off to Oamaru tomorrow for the Kurow Cup meeting with Andy & Arnold

🐴 Race 6 (2:55pm) Tartan Raider & Sarah take on a small but handy enough Jnr field, his last start 2nd was really good, work has been nice, he’s as genuine as & will give a great sight again!

🐴 Race 8 (3:55pm) Arnies Army & Jonny Cox have been thrown in the deep end a bit lining up in the Kurow Cup 🏆 hopeful he can make a quick beginning and settle handy if he can do that I think he could be a rough top 4 chance, pretty smart field, but he’ll do his best.

🥈 Another game run from wee Tartan Raider to pick up another second today! Settled well back before getting a nice drag into it by a very smart 3yo which he chased hard to the line, very pleased with him 🌟

Arnies Army didn’t manage to get a run, but finished up in 5th

🌟 The two stable stars are back on home turf tomorrow hoping to continue their good form 🤞🏼

Race 5 (3:03pm) Tartan Raider (Sarah O’Reilly) his work since being home has been really good, the trip away seems to have woken the wee bludger up a bit hoping that applies Raceday too! Couldn’t be happier with him, strong top 3 chance.

Race 7 (3:57pm) Arnies Army (Sarah O’Reilly) jumps up significantly in grade with his back to back wins at Addington, in saying that he follows speed really well and if he’s not too far off them he’ll still give his normal 110% and be running on at the finish, again he seems very well as well.

🥇🥈 Another brilliant day at Addington Raceway with Arnies Army & Ben starting the day off perfectly, with a perfect trip in the 1x1 the pair loomed at the top of the straight to get his second win in a row! Thanks to race sponsor BetaVet NZ & for the goodie bag!

Tartan Raider & Sam made another zippy beginning to find himself in front again over the 2600m which he’s been thriving on, going down a neck for second!

Very proud of the boys and their efforts on their trip away, couldn’t have asked for anything more! Massive thanks to everyone @ Mark Jones Racing for looking after them for the week!

📍Last start winners, Andy & Arnold are back at Addington Raceway tomorrow

Race 1 (12:38pm) Everything finally played out in Arnies Army’s favour last start were he got a well deserved win. He’s found himself in an amateur race which almost looks easier bar one, Ben Laughton takes the drive who used to be a respectable Jnr so I’m sure he’s in good hands in an amateur race where anything can happen!

Race 6 (2:54pm) Tartan Raider & Sam are back in another stand this week, hopefully they can take advantage of that again and end up handy, it’s a fair bit stronger than last week, but he’ll give his normal 110% and be there at the finish!

Big thanks to Mark, Sam & the rest of the team at Mark Jones Racing for looking after the boys for the week - very appreciative

🥇🥇Pretty awesome day @ Addington Raceway yesterday coming home with not one but two winners at HQ!

🌟 Tartan Raider & Sam pinged away in his first standing start to find the lead shortly after they said go, lead the rest of the way & fought hard to the finish getting there by a nose

🌟 Arnies Army ended up finding himself in the 1x1 courtesy of a Blair special! He capitalised on a handy trip for a change and got the job done fairly easily in the end!

✅ It’s always been a goal of mine to get a winner at Addington so to come away with two was pretty neat 🤩

📍 We head to Addington Raceway with Andy & Arnold to race this Sunday

Race 3 (1:57pm) Tartan Raider (Sam Ottley) was massive in defeat last start, this looks like an even enough field so hopefully Andy’s first look at HQ can come with some luck, will relish the 2600m stand, works at home is good.

Race 8 (4:19pm) Arnies Army (Blair Orange) has come up with the plum draw of one, forget last start everything that could go wrong for him did go wrong, hopefully this week everything goes right and he should get a bit of it! He’s also very well around home.

🥉 Tartan Raider was the star of the team yesterday picking up a very gritty third, after nearly getting decked by a galloper at the 1000m, because of that he then lost his handy position then also got pushed 4 & 5 wide from the 900m, very proud of him only going down a nose and a head!

When something goes wrong everything does..
T Bone pulled a shoe warming up and had to have both fronts removed prior to the start which changed his action unbelievably, he done well to trot without them but went terribly afterwards.

Vin got the perfect run in the trail reports were he felt great then had nothing at the 400m, something not right with him but he is now retired.
Arnie had his normal bout of bad luck getting left parked then stuck behind one he didn’t really want to be behind, then got knocked over, galloped at the 700m, regained himself but battled after that.

🏁 The whole race team head to Winton on Friday for four 20k Ratto Races 🐎

Race 5 (2:02pm) T Bone Rawhide (Shane Walkinshaw) needs to bring his manners, if he does I believe he’s a strong top 3 chance, half hopples go on to try help him out.

Race 7 (3:02pm) Tartan Raider (Nathan Williamson) not much went his way over the mile at Wynhdam, back on the fence and never seen clear air, work has been really good since, will go well.

Race 9 (4:00pm) Vin Scully (Kerryn Tomlinson) finally gets a big draw up grade, he does need to lift on recent performances but gets every opportunity here! Hoping he can go out on a good note as this will be his final race before being retired 🥲 Same race the ever consistent Arnies Army (Sarah O’Reilly) gets into a nice draw, honest as, and will give backers a great sight again, very very well & would thoroughly deserve a race like this to end his season!

🐎 Two Racing on Saturday @ Wynhdam

Race 4 (1:24pm) Tartan Raider (Blair Orange) nice second last start, he’s genuine as, should take benefit from the run but will go well.

Race 9 (3:53pm) Vin Scully (Blair Orange) has been really disappointing lately, has been a long way off them turning for home in recent races though so hopefully he’s up with them & digs in for the fight, but he needs to improve.

🏁 Race 6 (2:13pm) Arnies Army (Max Hill) & Vin Scully (Sarah O’Reilly) go head to head both with pretty poor draws, Arnie is going to be relying on luck drawing 1 second line following out one that can’t do much work, and Vin gets his customary outside of the gate draw so he will also be relying on things going his way, this is a big drop back in class from what he has been racing along with not having much luck lately.

Race 9 (3:54pm) Vin Scully (Sarah O’Reilly) bit disappointing last start, didn’t really run on when he should’ve. Big drop in grade this time so should be back to thereabouts

Race 6 (2:16pm) The ever consistent Arnies Army (Sarah O’Reilly) lands in a small field, bound to go another genuine race & will be right there at the finish.

Race 7 (2:51pm) T Bone Rawhide (Craig Ferguson) pulled something new out of the bag last start by pulling himself into the ground, have made a gear change so hopefully he just behaves this week and goes back to putting his best foot forward!

Race 7 (2:21pm) Wee Tartan Raider (Sam Ottley) is having his first start back after having a break after catching a virus at the end of his last campaign, has been trailing well, but will be looking to get a cozy trip and just to find the line here

Race 10 (4:12pm) Just another honest run from Vin Scully (Sarah O’Reilly) last start for second, this is harder and he has what looks like might be a niggly draw to contend with, if he can get a go he won’t be far away
