The story of Coco 💔

A year ago, I got a message from a lady wanting to board her dog for a month. She had lost her job and was forced to move in with friends who didn’t have space for a dog. The idea was to board Coco for a month until she found another job and moved. According to Coco’s owner, all the places she contacted either refused to take Coco or were too expensive for her. So, she begged and cried because she was frustrated and worried. She kept sending me pictures and videos of her and Coco and going on and on and on about how Coco was her baby and how she would NEVER let her go and NEVER understood how people did that.” HILARIOUS

So, feeling sorry for her and needing the money for support, I agreed. For the first month, she would come every week, bring food she cooked, play with her and shower her. I would send her videos and pictures whenever possible to reassure her Coco was OK. Now Coco is a very sweet dog, but she was never properly socialized, and had to be separated most of the time for her own good. She attacked the new dogs and/or the dogs she didn’t like.

The month was over, and Coco’s mom was not making plans to take her back. She was “still looking for a place that would accept dogs.” She never found that place, but instead, she found a job in Canada and now had to start the relocation process. I was SO happy for Coco because Canada was most definitely a better option that here under these circumstances. The owner stopped supporting her and I didn’t mind because she needed to invest the money in preparing Coco. But suddenly, it was, “I will be starting a new job and I don’t know where I will be staying or if they will accept dogs. But if I cannot bring her to Canada, I will send her to my home country and I am working with (named relocator) to do that.”

A couple of months went by and the lady left to Canada and for a while was humble enough to check on her baby girl who she “loved more than anything and would NEVER leave behind.” Until one day, the incoming messages stopped and the outgoing were never delivered and her FB messages were never checked or responded to. Was she murdered in Canada? Maybe!!

It’s funny and so conniving how people play the strings to your heart SO diabolically that you end up stupidly falling for the fake tears and the phony words. This woman played me like a fiddle. She was also one of the GREATEST actors I have EVER watched a drama for.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT?? It wasn’t YOU that I was helping; it was Coco. Maybe Allah wanted me to be the one that accepts her blinded by your deception and dishonesty because He KNEW she will be in better hands and I will do EVERYTHING and face all challenges to find her the home she deserves. He also knew that I would NEVER give her – definitely not the way you did.

Every time I remember how my heart sank when you cried for her, I would want to smack myself unconscious. But, it is people like you who have sadly made me wiser about my decisions because nowadays people can come up with the most sickening lies to get what they want.

You got what you want – you dumped Coco on my shoulders and left for your new start with a clear conscious. I wonder what you tell people when you speak to them about Coco. I pray you do tell them that you gave her up and tricked an already overloaded person into unknowingly taking her in FOREVER. I hope you tell them that you broke your word to Coco and left her without blinking an eye or shedding a single tear. And I REALLY hope you are reading this to know that both Coco and I pray you suffer tremendously and find that those you love abandoned you for greener pastures when you needed them the most.

Know that Coco is VERY happy and very loved. She has lived a better life in the last year than she has in all her years with you.

Cute puppies for adoption ❤️❤️

Meet some of our adorable puppies looking for forever homes!

They had a photoshoot for Christmas in hopes their cuteness would catch the eye of prospective adopters. Has it worked?!

They are 3 months old and are a Canaan mix breed, likely to grow to be upto 20kgs.

As festive as they look, remember pets are for life and not a gift, nor until a lifestyle inconvenience happens. We vet our adopters thoroughly to ensure our animals go to the most loving and committed homes.

URGENT DESPERATE APPEAL FOR MEDICAL SPONSORS 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Pending bills MUST BE PAID for cats to be released.

Total bill: 6025 QAR
Payment deadline: immediate

5 cats were admitted to the Gulf Coast Vet Clinic for immediate treatment because ALL the other vets are full.

It was a decision made to SAVE 5 souls - 1 FPV case, 3 with viral infection and 1 with tooth infection.

The staff at Gulf Coast was VERY UNDERSTANDING and VERY supportive and accommodating given my situation. They only accepted the cases on the promise that the amount will be paid in FULL once the cats are ready to be released.

Now they are, but I cannot do this without your help. So if you can PLEASE contribute with ANY amount, I would be grateful. Every riyal brings me one step closer to closing the bill.
