First up for today's grooms is Marley cocker...as you can see he takes his Grooming appointments very seriously 😅
Having a bit of fun with the girls ❤️
How good is your dogs stay? 🐾
A few weeks ago I shared some videos of the first steps of Lexi re learning her flyball box turn. Here it is in action on the chute 😍
2 years ago she had crutiate surgery and now we're here!💪💪
Training a dog is never quick and easy, there's always a journey...this particular journey has included alot of physio and a lot of fitness training!
But just this little video has made it so rewarding ❤️
Star of the class tonight was pickpocket Vinnie 🌟
Week 2 of the trick course and little Bailey has found his confidence and was loving the tunnel tonight 😍🎉
Tomorrow is the 1st night of the trick course 🐾
If you've booked a space have a think about what tricks you'd like to learn 🎉
After a busy weekend racing (and winning) at flyball today has been a chill day...no walks but some fun with their tea 🐾🥰
Super star Vinnie 🌟 he's come so far on his hooper's journey! Well done Amy!
The gorgeous Mya was an absolute stat at hoopers tonight, working on her turns and distance control 😍🐾
🐾Boosting our recall with a little bit of the Orientation Game!
Get some treats ready in your hands, you only need about 6!
Show your dog the treat and bowl it to one side for your dog to chase!
Once they eat it, mark their head turn back to you with your marker word and bowl a treat in the opposite direction.
Repeat until you have one treat left, use the last treat to feed them close to use and replace the lead! 🐾
This game teaches your dog to check in with you and orientate back to you when off lead!
Super impressed with Vinnie poodle! When I first met Vinnie he was unable to focus or work if his house sister Mya was around, so they have been working in separate classes. However tonight they both worked in the same class and not only was Vinnie able to focus on his handler, he was also able to listen and work and this was probably his best week yet! Hooper's star in the making!🌟
This little video may not seem a lot but this is Lexi's 1st time off lean in almost 2 years! ❤️
She's slowly building back up after her op and injury so for now it's short calm session 🙄 now she's always had a pretty snappy recall but like a typical terrier she likes to push the boundaries and loves to chase! So after so long being stuck on lead now it's time to recharge that recall!
It's never too late to teach a recall and there's always opportunity to reinforce it!
Over the next few weeks/months I'll be posting videos of some of her session to give you a look at some of our recall games! 🐾
A cold hooper's session this evening but the dogs were super 🌟
Star of the day at tonight hooper's has to be Vinnie 🌟 clever poodle and only his 2nd lesson 🐾
