2024 English Cocker National in Ashville, North Carolina surrounded by beautiful mountains!

Ernie achieved his 20th title! SEA
Tessa achieved her first 3 titles ever! CGC, RN, SCN

Here are our official results for record:

ERNIE
Conformation: Vetrans 7-10 years 4th place
Obedience: Preferred Novice first leg, 3rd place
Rally: Masters third qualifying leg
Scentwork: Advanced Exterior, two Q’s 3rd and a bumper leg. Excellent Container second leg and 1st place.

TESSA
Rally: Novice, third leg, perfect score, 1st place.
Scentwork: Novice Container, third leg, 1st place. Novice interior first and second leg - both third place.

We also competed in FAST agility for fun and did not qualify, however learned a lot and look forward to running in the future!

Ernie achieved 4th runner up in the National Performance Competition and participated in the parade of titleholders.

We ended out the week by each pup getting a summer haircut😅

What is a switchback? When hiking, a switchback is when the trail zig zags in order for hikers to climb to the greatest heights! The term was popularized during the Industrial Revolution as rail roads often used this type of rail formation to allow for trains to make it up inclines.
