PSA this morning....GO OUT WITH YOUR PETS AT DUSK AND AFTER DARK...I don't care if it's cold and you don't want to go out with them
Please be aware: The next 4-6 weeks is mating season for coyotes. Please do not let your dogs out alone. A coyote can come sn**ch them out of the yard within seconds or the coyote gets your dog to chase him and then somewhere in the distance the pack waits for your dog. Then the outcome is tragic as they can & will attack/kill your pets. Just be aware it can happen to your beloved pet. Coyote breeding typically peaks in late February and early March, the gestation period averages 58 to 63 days. Male coyotes can become alot more aggressive during this time of year, the long and short of it all is that coyotes always pose a risk to your dog (and other small pets). That risk increases during mating season.

I have been seeing posts about a 'new' illness that is going around for our babies. It is respiratory and it seems that meds are not working. It is having some mortality numbers. I just wanted to inform everyone so we can keep our babies as healthy and safe as possible! Please give them all an extra treat and belly rub from me! 🥰❤️🙏

All the babies of The Dog Days of Summer went to their FURever home. They have done great! They are so loved by their families! 🫶🎖🐾🥳🙌

One of the families had to make a very heartbreaking decision to return one of the babies due to their youngest child (3.5 years old) starting to have respiratory issues. Poor baby is allergic. The family was so upset and didn't want to have to return him as he "was perfect". But, due to this very unfortunate, unknown issue Fisher was returned. Fisher had only one p*e accident inside since being home. He sleeps all night in his crate without whining (unless he has to potty). She said he was such a cuddle, love bug and done great with her children. I am so sorry for the family and for Fisher as they are a wonderful family. He can sit, shake, lay down, and spin. Such smart Babies!

We will find Fisher another wonderful family to be a part of! 🙏🐾❤️🥰

I want to give a SHOUT OUT to the Halloween litter, my 1st litter. I always called them my Lil Goblins. But, they are the cutest, most handsome, and sweetest Lil' Goblins EVER!! I love all my babies from all my litters. This litter came during some difficult times in my life. The biggest being my Daddy passed away a week and a half before the puppies were born. These babies were my saving grace, my life line. These babies will always hold a special place in my heart as they helped restore parts of it. There isn't anything playing with 9 puppies can't fix. ❤️🐾🥰🐾

Sunny's new Mama is flying in and I will be flying to deliver Lady Bug to her new Mama! It is a happy day but it is also the hardest! I love all my babies so much! Happy Pumpkin Season🎃🧡🍂

3 of these babies will be flying to Texas within the next few weeks✈️🤠🇨🇱 They will all actually be close neighbors, within the same streets. They have many play dates in their future!

You know it's starting to click when several of these babies go into their crate on there own when it's time for bed. 😁🙌👏
I close off their potty trays and place them on it to potty before putting them in their crate. Fisher was pottying when I initially went in to potty and bed. When I started to put the whelping box side up to close off their potty trays, Fisher went straight in a crate and laid down! Whoo hoo! While pottying them one at a time, Sunny went into a crate and laid down. I had to get him out to go potty lol. 5 of the 6 went in their crates by themselves. Everybody but Fisher came out though at some point while pottying everybody. But, the thing is.... they know! 🤗 Lady Bug never went into a crate by her self lol. But, I also don't believe she has ever whined getting in a crate. ❤️ I put Lady bug up 1st and shut her door and then Sunny. Then I thought to take a picture of them. Everybody else's door are still open and they are all laying down ready for bed! Be still my heart! 💤😴🥰
Fisher was a sleepy boy he already flipped to his back and got comfy right after shutting his door! 😍🐾

When I started the fireworks playing on the TV, Skye just sat there watching the beautiful displays! 🤗😍 River then came up and sat down and started watching them too! Breezy walked up and looked and was like.... mehhh, nothing special! Lol 🎆🥰🐾
Desensitizing them to sounds is so important. It will break your heart when your baby is scared to death of fireworks and shaking and drooling. I know as my 1st one is. (That was before I decided to breed and didn't know the importance of desensitization). Dogs have 3 different fear phases. I recommend playing fireworks after going home occasionally to keep them desensitized to them. They could be fine for the 1st fireworks like the Fourth of July and then the next year scared to death. A breeder can only set the ground work on desensitizing and like any other training, it has to be maintained by the new parents. ❤️🎇🤗🐾🎆

I was videoing them this morning and just by chance got River and Lady Bug pottying on the trays. They have done SO good with pottying! I have only had to pick up p**p like 3 times.... ever. And, those 3 times was only because their hinny was hanging over the trays 😁🤣 They still get credit for that in my book! 🙌🥰 I would say they are 100% with p**ping on their trays and 95% with p*eing on their trays! They make me so Proud! 🐾💗🐾

In a little over a week and a half, these babies have learned how to sit, shake, and lay down. They are so smart! They learned each trick in about 20 mins. 🥰❤️😁

7 weeks📚🚌📓🖍️

What better fitting photoshoot than a School theme. These babies have been schooled and they make it SO easy! They have also started with crate training. We are doing 2 puppies to a crate and for only 2 hours right now. They potty before 'going to bed' and then they are pottied when they get out. They are left out the rest of the night. Tonight we will be starting 2 hours up, potty, and then put back up for 2 more hours. They have not had 1 single accident in their crates at this point. 🎉🎈🎊 They have done good. A few whine for about 10 mins but then settle 💤💤💤. Only once one has whined at about an hour after going to bed for about 5 mins. We are getting these babies ready for their FURever home. 🐾🏠🛝✈️

These babies are a ball of fun! This is the 1st time we have been able to do a group photo! (Group photos of any previous litters has never panned out lol). We were so excited! These babies are eating hard kibble, can sit on command, and is fixing to start crate training. Boy, time flies when your having fun, 6.5 weeks old! I just love these babies so much!🤍🫶🏻🐶
